The same solution use genepress and wing backs because what happens is u just keep on pressuring them and close down every single past after a couple passes like 5 r 3 in ml what they do is just lob it because of the pressure,also it depends on ur players cause players with high stamina levels and aggressive ball winning r more accustom to genepress

Hello mate, try full red mentality and put your 3 strikers on”player to join attack” , notice your cbs will stay behind with full red mentality. Please let everyone know this little tip.
As always, a very good tutorial and a very good piece of advice. One thing I would add: Watch carefully the player traits, so that you know who will stay behind, who will advance, if the opponent will play low for or high for, the strong and weak points of your own players and of these of the opponent. In this way, you will know how to exploit your advantages over the opponents' weaknesses and strike exactly there. Have a nice time.
Hey Spoony. Sorry to ask you this again but still unsure. When the data pack comes on the 22nd from Konami, it usually has the option to tick the boxes or untick them. With PES Universe OF 2 and 2.1 installed plus 3 coming. Do I leave them unticked or tick them ? Isn't the whole point of the data pack to update everything ? Hence I should tick them ? Or is that wrong.
@@SpoonyPizzas I mean the data pack though, not the PES Universe Option File. Whenever their is a data pack from Konami you get the option to tick those boxes or not. That's where I'm worried about. Not for the Option File coming afterwards.

Tutorials are great as always. Have you ever thought of doing one of breaking down teams that suit really deep? I play with championship clubs alot and it can be even more frustrating then playing pressing teams.
An easily solution to this which I use is when using attacking fullbacks you use wing backs what they do is a wing player r wide midfielder will drop bk for the full backs when needed defensively so your never caught blind sighted on defense
Hi Spooney, your tutorials are awesome! Really helpful for new pes converts. It would be really helpful if there was a tutorial on basic dribbling and player movement after first touch. Not the skills but just how to make your player do what you want them to do when running with or recieving the ball.
Love your videos. Are you able to provide a video on how to break a shield. On pes 2020 it seemed to be so much easier to do so but for some reason I’m really struggling to break an opponents shield even with super cancel online. Ive become so frustrated with playing pes 2021 that I reverted back to PES 2020 online instead.
I'm facing the opposite problem. I keep struggling against teams that spam long balls on the attackers. I fell I just can't win headers consistently against them and it's frustrating
I'm trying to select my defenders with a right stick as quick as possible and move them closer to my goal then opponent's strikers. Also if you hold R2 when trying to win a header it might help

1:47 here is my problem. In 8/10 chances that pass wasn't going to get directly to my receiver's end. The passer ability was suddenly knocked out by storm most of the times. This is what frustrating me. Beating the AI isn't that hard, maintaining my players' abilities is the challenge. I hate when my players received the ball and did nothing for 1-2 seconds eventho i've spammed the button, the responsiveness is killing me man. I can't say enough how frustrated i am with these gameplay. Don't get me started with that bullshit refereeing. I wish PES 2022 could have come sooner. I don't want to play FIFA. I know it's shit but comparing it to PES these last 2 years, it's like trash vs garbage
I really love your tutorials.. Btw Spoony, what do you think about the AI? I generally noticed that they are MUCH MUCH better then in 2020, way more aggressive and they play different styles. I've even noticed that even the REGULAR difficulty AI can give me a run for my money sometimes. I used to play TopPlayer/Superstar, now I'm struggling with Professional, but it doesn't feel like cheating this time.

Thanks so much for directing me to this video... Got the hang of keeping the ball when being gegenpressed. Managed to get 60-70% possession each game and eventually more wins... Felt really good beating guys using cheesy tactics 😂
On a different topic. . . can we all agree to hold our collective breathe and cross our fingers that Konami makes ZERO changes to gameplay in the upcoming data pack. Please, please, please! Just give us updated transfers and new face scans. Anytime they "fix" gameplay it's one step forward and 9 steps back. I've turned off my automatic update on PS4 so if gameplay changes I may just not ever update.
man they already changed the game. It is not the same gameplay today as the original game when came out. The new gameplay of 2021 lasted very few days, they changed it for the worse very quickly.
It only works vs AI. You should mention that. VS real opponent, you really need tactical football knowledge to beat them. If someone in the know is using Gegenpress vs you, you can be in a LOT of trouble. ;p Yes, I do like your videos, but AI is AI. It will never be like human in football games as humans can do unpredictable things, while AI is programmed to work in certain fashion. Once you get the pattern down, it's easy to beat even Legend AI.
It's the same. The methodology behind it is the same. Gegenpress forces your attackers and midfielders to push high along with your defensive line. If you can't pass through them... That's on you, because you'll always outnumber them in your half of the field when you have possession. The short lob pass is SO effective for nullifying those that like to press and by 75m their players will be dead.
@@SpoonyPizzas well, the difference here is like I said if you play vs elite PES player or not. Those guys can change tactics on the fly and tbf I very rarely faced Gegenpress users as it's too risky (whole team pushes upwards leaving big gaps). But damn those capable of utilising it to the fullest, are top of the league in my book.
sorry spoony..love your videos, but i just dont understand how you can keep defending this game. iteration after iteration its becoming worse - you cant pass, dribble, make room without awful scripting and AI messing it up. And the amount of tinkering between data packs is just horrendous. Dont know how you're having fun playing this anymore!
Everyone's entitled to opinion dude, I'm loving it. No such thing as scripting...if there was I wouldn't win 90% of my games lol. Can't dribble? I can. It's you can't dribble mate, learn to get better, stop looking for excuses and you'll unearth a quality game

Yea simple change your attacking instructions to counter attack and players will move into attacking areas

I would say avoid tiki taka tbh. High support range are key to ensure your players are spread out

@@info0fair enough mate but the pros like Ettorito, Kams etc. never use it. Infact, the pros mostly turn off all advanced instructions.

I've only played PES since 2018 but it's the best version I've ever played. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I am loving PES 2021.
