I didn't realise how much I needed more Offspring till I got more Offspring.
Gotta say, Dexy's voice has held up damned well after all these years. One of the more unsustainable sounding vocals but the dude's just timeless.
Sorry to say, this is all from post processing clean up. His voice live is just like an late 50 year old singer. That said, I'd still go see them live any chance I get.

There's serious amounts of post on this album. It's quite hearable. His voice was gone 10 years ago
@@h2oskiaddict well that what post production is for, even on the old records it went through that process. It's normal.
This song is the one that hits right in the feels. The most relatable one from the album that is most reminiscent of the older Offspring.
Not sure if I agree if this one this one is the most "old school offspring". For that definition I think Hassan Chop and Army of One fits that decription better.
@@Anonymos185 I had issues with Army of One given the audio is terrible, couldn't really give it a proper listen. Hassan Chop does go all the way back to Smash, I agree.

@@Anonymos185 Hassan Chop sounds like it could've been on Splinter, but not earlier. But yea it has a little of that eastern stuff in it like on Smash etc. so I see what you mean.
Hassan Chop, Opioid Diaries, Breaking these Bones are the most “old school” songs on this album.
This is one of the greatest offspring songs like original prankster, defy you, the kids arent alright, etc

I'm 30 years old and for 16 years you're my favorite band. What means for more of the half of my life. Even if you don't exist anymore in the future, your music would stay for everyone. Someday I also hope my childs can also enjoy your music. I understand that you have your own life, own family, own priorities. But all this won't stay forever. Your music will. I just please you to do as much as you can. Please focus on your music. It will stay for generations.

Head Around You was my first thought when I heard this song....soft start that turns into an absolute banger. Could see this being the 3rd or 4th single off the album, and could definitely see this becoming a fixture at their shows.

I'm 17 and I've loved these guy's music for lost my life. What makes it even better is that my dad's loved them since he was in college. It's rare for a band to put new songs out for multiple generations and still be great, but the Offspring have definitely done it.
