The posture was taught to me so, so early, we were told to stretch high ankles, hips shoulders in a straight line line then drop onto your feet with bent knees, pretty good posture every time. As to an exercise for shoulders downhill, my first run of every day is a green/blue run holding my poles paralell to the slope directly downhill for the whole run...perhaps not as good as their drills but your shoulders can't rotate uphill.
New Drills Thanks!!! I like the pole-less drills I'll try those very soon. I've been doing the lift the inside ski drill, but not w/the ski tip touching the snow, I'll try that. Thank You Happy New Yr Stomp It Bros!
Iv picked uf skiing again after 5 years and feel like im doing everything wrong. Im not sure why but skiing is way more exhousting than i remember. Like after 7 turns i stop bc my legs feel like i just did a set of squats. And i dont Understand how people can make turns while keeping there legs close together. I always straighten my outside leg. I also didnt remember skiing boots to be as uncomfortable as climbing shoes. After a 3 day skiing trip im not sure i enjoy it as much as i used to. I think my skiing needs some serios help. Thankfully your videos are opening my eyes to things i never thought about like leening forward or carving and so on . And the tricks your doing look so fun i cant quit yet. Thanks
had a similar problem. took 4 hrs and my quads felt like they were going to cramp, searched it up and it's all posture, you are likely leaning back and putting more pressure on your heel which is much harder work. That's from my experience at least, so I ended up here to pick up some techniques to fix it. good luck 🤞
Lean forward into the ski boots, they are there to support you. Otherwise your legs will be doing the hard work of supporting yourself. Ideally you should get a ski instructor for some valuable feedback.

Here's what I don't get. Don't lean forward, do lean forward. Keep the weight over the centre of your foot, but do lean forward but don't lean forward. In the last exercise here he was getting people to lean forward massivley. So which is it?

Beautiful teaching technique by the instructors! Just got my instructor level 1 with the CSIA and I'm feeling inspired by this video.
Best coaching!!! ❤ great to have a recording of the explanations and drills, and even a scheme now 🤓

We should definitely get Dave some of those Moncler goggles… sad to have missed the camp this season but will see you guys on the slopes!
Sitting out here in the Pacific NW and feeling a lot of snow envy right now.
Do like many of your fellow Americans and come over and join a camp 🤙🏻 Conditions are great!
I'd love to. Now you just have to convince my wife :-) For now, I'll just keep watching your videos.@@StompItTutorials
