EDIT: FEW THINGS I DID NOT MENTION 1. You can reset your HEXA stat core after reaching level 10 if you do not like the current outcome (as kinda seen when talking about reaching certain main stat levels). You will NOT get your fragments refunded. 2. You can pre-save your HEXA stat core when it reaches Level 20. If you reset it and roll into a Stat you do not like due to bad RNG, you can just switch back. 3. I did not cover this because its nothing to worry about at the time, but eventually there will be a total of 6 HEXA stat cores. Cores can not share the same main stat, and additional stats can only be put on two times each across all 6 cores. So no matter how garbage the Damage% and IED% boost is, we will eventually have to apply them in the future.
Thanks man this makes a lot more sense now. Definitely the most confusing part of 6th job. Worth noting GMS has a bunch more sources of Boss Damage from Legion, Links, buffs, familiars, etc so Damage and Boss Damage are probably even worse than they are in KMS.
Thanks for a detailed explanation, Kobe. You are correct in that the most asked question in the Shadower Discord is "when do I do Hexa Stat?" I now have a video to point them to that will help answer their questions!
Is there any way to prep for 2nd Hexa Stat core? If so you should make a video on it. I was wondering if you could prep another hexa stat core from reseting core 1 so once you pay the unlock cost of hexa stat 2 you could immediately have a maxed one to fill the slot.
i think people should activate all of their mastery and boost nodes first, then just level the hexa stat since that boost all of your skills, and the mastery and boost nodes only boost very few / single skills so efficiency wise it is better to go for hexa stat since you gain a greater damage benefit. Shades however, you activate everything, then Spirit Flow is activated LAST, but it is the first you want to level / max out because 90 seconds Spirit Flow is absolutely massive for your damage since it gets closer to 100% uptime and that skill, in addition with spawning the random summons effect, grants final damage during its duration which benefits all of your skills. Unless you have buffs for your 6th job boost nodes, you should focus on hexa stats after everything is activated.
seems like resetting and chasing main stat level is a waste right now so is it better to just go level 20 regardless of what level your main stat is and then come back to it once all your skills are maxed?
i agree, Attack, Main Stat, and Crit Damage should be the main 3 to focus on for hexa stats Bishops: INT, Magic Attack, Crit Damage for the first node since Bishops have extra value for getting more INT (Main Stat) than other classes. Second node, when released, will be Magic Attack lead with INT in the secondary slots. And IED is main value for the 6th Node, they do not need extra IED.
Not quite sure I'm understanding what you're asking, but when rearranging you want to put the stat you get the most value out of on the line where you'll get the most of it from (just like what I did with attack in the video). And then you would go on to do the same with the 2nd best and 3rd best stats.
so like how your Hexa stat is 5/5/10, People who minmax would reroll for like 7/x/y (7 main stat, x and y additional stats or something right? then insert whatever stat benefits the most from the given set of levels rolled
you can see them all here old.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/185y0b6/hexa_matrix_leveling_priority/ however I am not sure how legit all of these are, I have heard complaints about some jobs
Some classes don't want crit damage as their third stat. As a marksman, we already have so much crit damage during out burst that we're better off picking boss damage as the third stat. Anyways, the way I see it, there are basically three ways to approach hexa stats in current time (ie.when only one core is available): 1) Rerolling the single core as necessary until it's at a target main stat level, and continuing to do so as the cost efficiency makes sense in relative to skills. This focus on short term gains 2) Yeet the core to lv20 at an early time and then just leave it alone until more cores are available, so more cores can be yeeted to lv20, and then the best cores can be assigned good stats, and the bad ones can be reworked on when it makes sense. This is kind of a balance between long term efficiency and short term gains 3) Level the core to lv10 or so, and then continue levelling only if it doesn't hit one of those "reset" marks, otherwise just leave it alone. This would probably be the way to go five years down the road when all six stat cores are available, but since we only get one right now it's basically focused on long term efficiency. I'm personally going to go with 2)
I am fairly certain you can rearrange at any time, but recommended to do it once it is done just incase you have to rearrange again towards the end so you only ever have to do it once
@@Dnite13 If you don't purchase fragments yes, but if you do you can prevent that. KMS Reboot does have this issue, though (because of course no trading). But that wasn't the point of anything I made in this video. You just approach HEXA stat whenever you want or when you feel like it is the best or one of the best fragment efficient upgrades you can make compared to leveling your skills.
If you're in reboot, never reset hexa stat. Waste of frags, even if your stat is 0/10/10. 0/10/10 is still good later on when all 6 hexa stat slots open up because you cannot overlap main stat so you set your 0 main stat as IED

Also first
So basically 3 new levelable potential lines to use to add to our existing stats.

i jus upgrade all hexa skills 1st , the hexa stat is like gambling to me lol.

Tempted to do Boss Damage over Main Stat
Did you put STR as your main stat bcoz has less chance to rank? Str , CD , att?
What a goat. Ty for the perfect guide man
I am a NL, my main stat ahould be ATT, STAT AND CRIT DMG TOO?
do you think dawn warrior or bishop would be better? i’m playing the new reboot server.
WHAT DO U LIKE BRO?????
do you have a link to the image that you showed in the video at 3:42
sorry for the late reply but it was from the HEXA Matrix page on Namu Wiki namu.wiki/w/HEXA%20%EB%A7%A4%ED%8A%B8%EB%A6%AD%EC%8A%A4
Awesome!
Kobe the goat
is there a discord server for kms server for english speakers? im in Luna

Facts don't care about my feelings, but damn it sucks to think you could likely dump 300+ frags to have to reset it.
so with the rearranging thing, the only real thing that matters is what level u roll right? so high 1st line and acceptable 2/3rd line level

Is there a 6th job optimization guide like that for every class, like the one for Bucc at 10:23?

can you rearrange the hexa stats at any time or only after finishing it?

With daily quest, sol erda is easy to come by, the fragments are where the true time gate is at...
The thing is, kms has tradable fragments where gms isnt
I'm not sure if this changes anything I said in the video I don't think

its better than you'd think LOL, especially much later on when you'll be paying the same amount of frags for like 0.3% fd
