I have Venue DCT. Going downhill with the second gear allows you to avoid frequently braking. Driving more than 50K kilometres in DCT is no problem; it is absolutely fine even in Banglore road conditions.
Got a fuel efficiency of 19.7kmpl for a highway drive of 450km before first service(speed range: 80-100kmph @ 2000RPM). The 1.5 TGDi engine and the DCT transmission combination give you the option of both performance and efficiency; you can drive it however you want :) Light-footed driving in traffic gives an efficiency of 10-11kmpl. Bumper-to-bumper traffic in Bengaluru gives an efficiency of 6-7kmpl.

I have Kia Carens 1.5 DCT. This engine is a beast. Even with full load in hills it can climb without an issue. Only concern is brake is not sharper.
