    Thanks. It is nice to see a 727 again. I used to live in the flight path of DCA and remember how I loved to see them flying over.

    I so miss seeing this everyday! I still remember my last ride on a DL 727 and my last cargo 727 ride on a 100 ex-TWA bird! Thanks for keeping it alive with your vids!

      This is what this channel is for. I am filming all of these classic birds so people like you and I can reminisce on what used to be. I will keep doing this until I am forced to stop.

    Nice video of an old "three-holer" still earning its keep in 2022. Thanks for sharing! I recall back in the 1980s when 727s seemed to be all over the place and it was somewhat frustrating flying on one back then because they were almost boringly too common.

      I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching!! I, too, have flown on many with Northwest. Anything with a JT8D strapped to the tail was never boring to me haha! Especially sitting in a window seat in the back by the engine 🤙

    My favorite flight was on a B727 out of Vancouver, Canada. The pilot, in an excellent mood, showed the plane could take off faster than airliners usually do. I happened to sit next to the proud mom of a Boeing engineer. Over part of the Rockies, the pilot told us some of what we were seeing. High above the Plains, I enjoyed seeing the 'quilt' patterns and huge circle-in-a-square fields growing using circular pivoting irrigation. {quilt like patterns.}

      I love the story, thank you for sharing! I think we all have a great tale to tell about the 727. It’s one of my absolute favorites

    Still sounds better than any modern jetliners of today.
