Spider-Man is back for another web-slinging, crime fighting smash hit! Two years have passed since Peter Parker first hit the streets of New York City as the conflicted crime-fighter Spider-Man. But a freak accident transformed him from a timid researcher to a criminally insane megalomaniac who blames Spider-Man for his horrible transformation. Experience total freedom as you soar through the concrete canyons of a living, breathing Manhattan, complete with familiar landmarks and bustling, traffic-clogged streets. Me too! Thanks to the uploader I now know what he do to finish it. Am literally crying inside me but can't produce a tear. I remember my younger self which is 8 years old I think based on the released date of the game. Oh the glory days.
This was my first Spider-Man game that's why it will always have a special place in my heart.

Man this was my first game after getting a PC in 2006. I remember struggling so hard when trying to pass the Mysterio arc, specially asteroid throwing. Good times, really enjoyed the game back then.
Same here i was so fucking angry at Mysterio that time and was struggling so much to somehow just defeat him
My first computer game. Feel a great memories for it and think that it is terribly underrated, mysterio in this game is masterpiece.
btw for people who struggled with rock throwing, there was a bug with Low end PCs, where if your FPS was low the rocks would explode after you try to throw them like 90% of the time. it wasn't your fault 😄😄
This level was like beating 10 dark souls games.

I was super confused when i was a kid playing this part of the game. I was hanging in the city then all of a sudden i started to fight some astronaut guy in the space. And i just find out that mysterio uses illusions and none of this scene is actually real. lol
I remember literally skipping the level by changing the config of this game because the asteroid throwing part was impossible for me as a kid.
brother you missed out on a lot. the struggle to pass this level was a real deal and the joy I got as a 10 y/o kid when I passed this level was unreal. felt like I made it in life lol

So Batman: Arkham Asylum effectively ripped this level off with the Scarecrow boss fights, then Spider-Man PS4 ripped that off with the Scorpion boss fight.
That statue looks exactly like the movie far from home. I wish I had this game, but I only got Spider-Man 2 movie game .

That is mysterio a galaxy or space related villain of spiderman, as he didn't shown in far from home movie at there he was totally a technical guy. And in this game it's all related to space!

Say what you want about PC edition but this boss fight is way better than those on the Console
This level is the only thing that's better compared to PS2 version. In any other aspect, PS2 version is just unbeatable.

The only good level that Spider Man 2 had to offer with Mysterio and the soundtrack it gave in the last moments of the fight, being a total crappy game disaster, still for me, even though being a big Spidey fan, this game was an insult.
