In saying “lay back” baekhyun meant the singing style where you fall behind the rhythm to produce an effect. They’re all so expressive. It was so interesting that Chanyeol did the whole directing when it was Sehun’s turn. And Chanyeol making a pun😂 These recordings are so interesting since you really get to see how experienced they are. Hope SM gives us a lot more lol

It's really amazing to see how EXO make it seems so easy to sing so good like that. But we know it's nvr so.
Xiumin with intense eye makeup and a single dangling earring is total eye candy! And then when he throws in a few body rolls….holy moly! And then he opens his mouth and his sweet vocals fill the room.

PS it’s Baekhyun giving feedback to most members here you heard him correctly. We hear him for Chen, Chanyeol, Kai, Xiumin. For Sehun it’s Chanyeol. For Bakhyun I believe it’s Chanyeol and Chen giving feedback (did I also hear Suho, exo-Ls?) For Suho and D.O. I’m not sure if any members are present, but these are just short clips. it’s way too hard to pick a bias in exo… i bias all of them… and the bias wrecker changes every week

I think maybe having unit and solo albums really made them more confident in the booth, especially for the members that don’t get main vocal lines like Kai and Xiumin. Of course, I don’t have any way to verify this lol since SM hasn’t released past recordings 😅 but recording 6-8 songs all on their own is a significant increase in recording time for any group idol who doesn’t have a lot of solo songs like OSTs
