This song describes my life perfectly. Its one of the most relatable punk rock songs I've ever heard. I love this band and i really wish to find out how and why Tony Sly died.
I never come on RUclips and ramble about my feelings, but here we go. I remember as a teenager wishing there was a song out there that described my childhood; something that "understood" me. I came across this song and when I heard it I broke down in tears. This song changed my life for the better and I have nobody to thank but this band. My only regret is that Tony will never know how much this song touched me. Rest in peace Tony and thank you from the bottom of my heart for this musical gift.

Devastating news. I was lucky to be a casual friend of Tony in the last 10 years or so because my best bro is tony's longtime pal. A super nice guy, great songwriter, & the gentlest most soft-spoken guy off stage. I used to tease him because his guitar picks were so thick and heavy. this is so f***ing sad.
Reminds me of the days of 8th grade. The days when I was a single, sucidal, life hating freak. But you know, listening to this and releving the memories is bitter yet calming in a way. I'm 18 by the way.
