New to the fleet, 1969 Sears Suburban 12, and attachments!

- This was a 1 owner tractor, stored in a shed it’s whole life.
Supposedly been sitting since the 1970’s sometime. The battery is much newer, but the clutch spring is broken, so it’s possible it was parked due to not having a working clutch.
Still had the original Roper drive belt! Super cool!
Most of the attachments are for sale.

Just got myself a 10xl with the plow really heavy duty already used to clear some land now need to get a three point for it
3 points are super useful
I got a suburban ten free from a lady that ended up with it after a divorce. She didn’t know what to do with it or if it even ran. Had some surface rust and flat tires. It came with a trailer and mower deck. I cleaned the carb, put in new gas, aired up the tires and it fired right up.
I’ve had it about ten years and use it every spring to mow weeds on my property.
When I got it I didn’t realize they were so popular, I’m sure the lady I got it from didn’t realize what she had either.
They’re popular among some groups. Not as collected as wheel horse or John Deere, but that’s ok with me- it keeps Sears relatively cheap

that seat cover is great. I have never seen one in real lift, just pictures. All mine just have seat pans.
I took the original seat off, hung it on the wall so it won’t get ruined

Those 69 Suburban 12s are my favorite by far! That one is in really nice shape. I actually have an original Sears battery from the early 70s. I will have to show it in my next vid, really interesting looking battery back then
