In my country, Indonesia we have so many types of sambal. All of them have different flavours and textures based on its use. But for egg fried rice, I usually use 'sambal terasi' because it gives the fried rice spiciness and umami as well. Anyway terasi means shrimp paste

Uncle Roger & Vincenzo Prospero had challenged each other to make 2 dishes 😊 Uncle Roger made carbonara recipe with cheese to make the cream the Italian way & Vincenzo made egg fried rice (2 versions of it) ☺️

Sambal basically have spicy flavor, but with diffrent type of it,it can taste spicy and salty at the same time or spicy and sweet at the same time. The taste is based on what you add with the chili

I would definitely agree that tobacco sauce probably would not go very well with fried rice. There are spicy elements that you can use that blend pretty well with fried rice but tobacco would not be one of them. It would be like trying to put Goya hot sauce (which is a Hispanic hot sauce that my family & I use 🇵🇷) onto an Asian style fried rice...it just wouldn't mix. You should look at Vincenzo's video, because he does an "Italian fried rice" too....it's.......different....😅

Okay I get asians love gas/fire to cook on, but in Europe soon we are not allowed to use that anymore, slowly everyone is switching to electric stoves, and in my opinion of the two primary electric stoves induction is the best, because it gives you control, you can rapidly switch between high and low heat, ceramic electric stoves take a long time to heat up and to cool down, so you have less control, if you need to turn it down you have to physically remove the pan from the stove so the food doesn't overcook whilst you wait for the cooking plate to cool down enough, I honestly hate cooking on ceramic electric stoves, I need the control that gas fire stoves give, hence why once I cannot use it anymore I'll get induction, I have difficulty cooking with little control, also I hate having to constantly remove pots from the stove to wait for the cooking plate to cool down enough and then put it back, like there's food that needs alot of control, bring to the boil and then turn low, which isn't that simple with the ceramic electric stove, and it's also annoying that everything takes longer on it, something that with gas fire or induction takes about a minute to get hot enough to start cooking takes 10 minutes on the ceramic electric stove.
If it was up to me I'd stick with the gas fire stove, but the government decided we need to get off the gas and go all electric asap, so we don't really have a choice, in a couple years they'll cut off the gas forcing you to buy an electric stove of some kind, it is what it is.

I think it’s hilarious how Steve pronounces kimchi. Kim-u-Che is how you pronounce “it feels good”. You here it in lots of JAV.
