I know Akari and the players worked HARD this conference. That is evident and acknowledged. However, their hard work was TAINTED by the commotion that happened yesterday. The unfairness, dishonesty, and overall favorable calls made it a win that isn’t worth celebrating.

It’s the second referee’s fault. Sya naka duty to oversee below the net violations, it was CLEARLY a net violation. Could’ve AT LEAST make a “replay” instead of awarding a point to Akari. I’m a fan of both teams pero personally this game goes to PLDT.

It’s the second referee’s fault. Sya naka duty to oversee below the net violations, it was CLEARLY a net violation. Could’ve AT LEAST make a “replay” instead of awarding a point to Akari. I’m a fan of both teams pero personally this game goes to PLDT.

Since the net contact happened after the block and didn’t interfere with the opponent’s play, it should not be considered a violation-even in Olympic-level play.
