One thing I do is take those stems and chop them into small inch size pieces and put them in the pot at the beginning with all the other veggies. They will cook longer, release more flavor, and less waste! Lots of nutrients! And yes, that liquid gold AKA Pot Liquor is the BUSINESS! Any really good collard greens will have the BOMB Pot Liquor! All in All, this was a Fantastic recipe!

Looking good!!! 👍 My husband and I love greens: collard, mustard, turnip, even kale and spinach!!! He has to have cornbread to sop up the pot liquor! 😆 Thanks for the recipe! 😋 I use smoked ham hocks most of the time, but smoked turkey works just as well. Also, when I wash my greens, I lift them from the water, so all the dirt and residue is left floating in the bottom. Then I pour out the dirty water and rinse again. I do that about 3 or 4 times, until the water is clear.

Looks great! I like bacon and or ham-hocks with mine, but hey, we all do it our own way. One thing I'd like to see, is your take on, cornish hens. Myh wife does them beautifully, just wondering how you do them just to change it up a bit. Cheers brother. Thanks for the vid my friend.

Your green's 🥬 look delicious🍗 You have to add more liquid so you can have some pot liquor to eat with some cornbread🌽 That's what how we do it from the south. Yummy 😋 to the tummy. You're an excellent Chef💯
