Everything seems so easy in your videos. In real life it's quite different. I love how you just levered the arm off the ball joint. I used a hammer, pry bar, four guys and a gorilla, and some fairly colorful language. CANNOT get the arm off the ball joint. Finally removed the ball joint from the knuckle and now I don't know what to think. You moved that arm out of the way with a hook and pry bar, we couldn't BUDGE ours even with two guys on the pry bar. Suggestions?
When you torqued the brake line hose bracket, it didn't turn before it registered being at torque spec. That meant the ratchet over Torqued the bolt. The proper torque proceedure is to back the bolt off until the torque wrench turns the bolt and then it reaches the torque setting. For something as light as 20 you can hand over tighten that which is why the torque setting is important especially if that is steel into aluminum.

Started hearing clicking noises recently when turning the wheel in my subaru. Thanks for the easy to understand and informative video!
Why do all the other videos show people messing with the camber bolt? Is there any negative to pulling on the controll arm like that?

Thanks for the video, it helped a lot!
Where did you get the special hook/what is the special hook used to pry down on the control arm?
Would the torque be the same for the Crosstrek in the same generation?
I have a 2016 Forester, is there any significant difference I need to be aware of doing this procedure?
Guys what kinda hook do you use for the pry bar to use can you provided the listing for it

You forgot the brake cleaner and re-tightening of adjacent nuts and bolts
good ol New Hampshire rust.
What about that crusty, rusty control arm?
damn so I'll have to pay for a wheel alignment after this too huh
And boom, charge someone 500 apparently lol
