Nope. Just good old fashioned stupidity... and occasionally gamebreaking bugs. That's what you're seeing during the parts where I seem to just be standing still.
I have never died at the Mecha Bandicoot part of the final boss fight. Idk if there is a unique death animation to that but I don't have a PS2 anymore so I'll never find out. Nobody on RUclips died on that part even on purpose as it's very easy to beat.
Good thing the game is generous with the amount of lives you can get. I made the worst mistake as a kid of not farming lives for the ant valley and I never made it past that long blue, red, green platform near the end.
love Cortex face when he is killed, i really laugh a lot with that face, thats why i have a save file in Uka Uka boss battle, disable autosave and have uka kill him many times
When I play this game I have through Dr nexo cortex at something I fought was friendly but it's really not and that had just killed him and then I was all confused I think I had died with him

I also did discovered a glitch to get infinite wumpa fruit. I have this game on the xbox 360 hardrive, thats how i'm able to play some xbox original games including this game. And discover some glitches during the prosses of playing those games.
