Not only are they a great group, they are generous souls. Every time I have seen them it's a benefit for the blindness eradication charity SEVA. Since they only play for free; I just bought their 2 year old album. Gotta say thank you somehow.

O M Gosh !!!! I am an instant fan ! ... Just today, i happened on this Double CD at the library. Got home and started streaming.., got about 40min. in, and just had to find out more.. First off this new live double CD rocks ! .. The early video recording i saw, and heard was AWESOME ! .. This live capture... Well i just Love, Love, Love these ladies. I’ve been waiting for this one!! WALLER STREET! - was so fun to do in Philly and also in Marin. Really -can we remember 1968 - no shibai - no B.S - just a generation looking for the truth ~ having our own babies, not fighting in that war - full of promise - but!! We didn’t take it ‘all the way.’ we went for the money. We were supposed to put the love on hate. We lived and loved on Waller street.

These women are fantastic! Been playing since the early sixties & then re-grouped recently to land in the studio w/ a great label, High Moon Records. I just finished dancing to this tune moving around in my study--exercise was great for a 73-year-old woman with children & grandchildren. Love that rock 'n' roll!

my only gripe is that the bass should have been turned up in the mix and instead of a keyboard, Momma needed a Hammond B-3 Organ.....then it would have been perfect!!!!!!

Oh people knew how good they were. They just were too greedy to pay them what they were worth. Several labels wanted to sign them, but none of them would cut a check the girls were happy with.
great band .just a year or two later came the all female rock group fanny ,Same sort of line up guitar/bass /drums / keyboards. fanny were fortunate enough to get a record contract and inspired the runaways etc amd certainly worth a check and are on youtube
I'll be departing middle age next year - yup - I'll hit eight - zero. This is simply fantastic, & timeless. I'd make love to all of these ladies, but alas , I'm too far away.
