Hey bro. Hope all is well. Yes I did, love both of them, both incredible cars but the Audi always felt like the huracans lesser brother (plus my wife hated it 🤣) and the Mclaren is so capable but the reliability thing has been an issue for friends of mine. The Aston just ticked lots of boxes for me. What are your thoughts?
@@mrhelligso221 The Aston is definitely high on the list, I’m a bit of a Porsche fanboy so moving away from a 911 is hard but a change is needed. My brother has just bought a 570S so I’ll get a good experience of that. The R8 has always looked great, more so the gen1, the performance is amazing from the V10 and these cars will not be built very soon. But, and it’s a big but, it’s an Audi and the interior looks the same as my RS4..I’m not sure it’s special enough. Which sounds ridiculous given it’s a mid engined v10 super car! The big attraction of the 911 has always been that balance of performance, handling, practicality, reliability and use ability...whilst it isn’t my daily, the fact I can get in it, it starts and I can drive 300 miles or 3 miles without a problem is a must for me. When you drive those roads with the GT3 and McLaren do you feel like the Aston can hold it’s own?
Beautiful rear end, absolutely the best. Great engine and handling. Brakes are a bit touchy. Decent interior. Too bad they fell asleep when designing the front end.
