A quick look around shows that your video and its numerous variations have been viewed around 80 million times on youtube alone. My estimate is that well over 100 million people have seen it. How does it feel to be immortalized like that? c=
TehNetherlands Here's the way I look at it:
My friend Ryan and I made the video in 2005 to try to make a few of our friends laugh and maybe spread it around a bit. We figured a thousand or so people would see it. So, it feels weird that 100 million additional people also saw it and, hopefully, laughed at it. So... first, that's a lot of laughing -- I'm a fan of that. :) Second, I think we SEVERELY underestimated the number of people who share our love of pure silliness set to music. 100 million people is SO FAR BEYOND where we thought this video would go, it doesn't even make sense as a number anymore -- it's just "more" and "beyond." So, I like to extrapolate from that 100-million-person sample that we, as a human population, probably ALL underestimate how silly and fun and awesome most people actually are and all this video has done is immortalize that fact.
TL;DR -- I feel like we (you, me, everybody) are probably going to be ok in the end. :)
