    Just to note
    This video has been made as a guide to help you maintain/fix/repair a specific part of a Pure Electric e-Scooter. Unfortunately, we can't be on hand to make sure all the right steps are taken, with the correct tools and used on the correct parts.
    As such take care when following this guide that you do not take any steps, outside of those highlighted in the video, that void the warranty or damage your e-scooter.
    We also want to highlight that you should take all steps to set up a safe working environment, and should only be comfortable carrying out the steps in the video, if you are sure that the e-scooter is securely positioned and not at any risk of toppling over, potentially hurting anyone or damaging your e-scooter. If easier, bring someone else along to help you with this task. And as a final note - Take care not to damage any electrical cabling (which is a safety hazard) - we wish all our riders to be safe both during and after any maintenance.
    We want all our riders to feel confident in carrying out their own maintenance, in a safe and controlled way, but as with anything, if you're unsure on any steps, contact our support team via your local Pure Electric website (pureelectric.com) who will be on hand to help.

    Having trouble getting the tyre back onto the wheel. This dude in the video making it look so easy when quite clearly it isn't

      the hardest part is edited out, because it's really a struggle without the right tools/equipment to fit tyre on the wheel. I tried myself today I left very disappointed. It's way more difficult than on the video. Now bringing the tyre and wheel so that scooter repair guy could fit it, but he refused to inflate it because he say that new pure 3 have difficulty getting air tight seal after tyre replacement. I will try with co2 myself and see hiw it goes. So far I'm not happy with this experience.

    So one moment the motor cable is attached, then it magically disappears. Yet they show how to unscrew the two cable cover screws and then replace them later. Well done 👏🏻
    And you break the seal of the tyre to remove, but dont use any sealant when fitting the new tyre?! Disappointing "how to" video from Pure. And I'm not liking the sound of other comments regarding unbolting the wheel.

    Rear?,or front?.

    • @RidePureElectric
      @RidePureElectric  Год назад

      Hi Alfredo - this is the replacement of the Air3 rear tyre, but once you remove the wheel from the scooter, the steps to change the tyre is exactly the same whether front or rear tyre.
      Pure Electric has standardised its wheels to be the same across all Pure Air3, Advance and Advance Flex models of e-scooters.

      Hey @morguk2069 - once the wheel is removed from the scooter, the process of replacing the tyre is the same whether its the front or rear wheel, but thanks for flagging.

    Hi, what is the CO2 for? Pure air isn't enough?

    • @RidePureElectric
      @RidePureElectric  Год назад +1

      Hi @Mariecka - we're using a pressurised inflating tool, you can also use a Trackpump which uses air. The reason for this is that you need to shoot high pressure air into the tubeless tyre to 'seat' it onto the rim. Pumping with a hand pump and Air does not produce the pressure required.
      Once the tyre is seated on the rim, you are able to inflate it just using your handpump alone.

    that is not the rear wheel

    • @RidePureElectric
      @RidePureElectric  Год назад +1

      Hi Peter, we use the same clip in the middle of the video for all our tubeless tyres, whether its an Air3 front tyre or an Advance Flex rear tyre. It's the same process, the only difference is the rear has a motor cable attached.

    This looks harder than gen 2…

    • @RidePureElectric
      @RidePureElectric  Год назад

      Hi @JLB - As the tyres are tubeless, it would only be in very rare cases where significant damage was done to the tyre, that you would need to remove it. But as we support the right to repair, we've designed the rear wheel to be fully removable unlike our Gen 2 Pure Air Scooters, with far simpler mounting system used.
      Our plugging kit video is the easiest way to repair a puncture - ruclips.net/video/dPJtT_piWaw/видео.html
      And if you don't want to do it yourself, our Authorised Repair Partner network are on hand to do it for you
