請問是否要去到UK,交咗council tax,先可選擇學校，因我已租樓，但7月尾先去UK, 或是要到暑假後先擇到學校呢？
應該說，有了居住地址後，才能報學校。如果是由council編配，council有可能會確認你們真的在這個地址居住。另外，council亦可能索取小朋友可在英國就讀的證明，例如護照裡LOTR的印，或者簽證。我的情況，兩樣都要提供。

聽落真係覺得好複雜，有冇一種可能就係直頭話俾council,我已經搵晒所有學校都冇位，請佢哋幫我派一間最近呢學校呢？
如果居住的地區係由council安排插班，咁你向council報名插班後，council會同你選擇嘅學校確認是否有位，以及安排學位俾你。如果所有你選擇嘅學校都無位，以我理解council係會安排最近而又有位嘅學校。我有最近來到的朋友，都是在這種情況下，獲council安排到一間沒有申請過的學校，因為所有申請的學校在讓人年級都已滿額。最好向你住嘅council確認佢地係咪都係會咁樣安排。

如果該區由council統一處理收生事宜，可以電郵問佢地。有啲地方係直接搵學校搞，咁就聯絡學校。
不過據我所知，有啲宗教學校自己有候補名單，咁最好直接問佢地。
