I saw the thumbnail of this painting and just about fell out! This is so similar to a painting I did last fall, I thought it was my work!! I enjoyed watching how you built this picture from the first washes up.

You could use splattering, techniques, or watercolour pencils, and sandpaper. Just rub the tip of the watercolour pencil against the sandpaper, and the pigment will fall onto the wet surface, and it creates a beautiful effect, not too dissimilar to the Brusho.
Thank you for all tips and tuturials. Iv been following your tt for servel years. I would like to know what kind om pensel you use the big ones in black? Thanks C from Sweden
Lovely. But I’m afraid landscapes defeat me every time I try. I just can’t do them. Wish I could though. Plus, the salt trick never works for me, alas.
Sorry you’re having trouble with landscapes. They can be tricky… Check out my salt tutorial: ruclips.net/video/VrqTwMREUUU/видео.htmlsi=Iyzkl8RVWcZiPEtj

Karen, I thought that the sun was on the left side, because of the light that is there….😊
Hi Karen. Do you always stretch your paper? I see you used 300gsm this beautiful landscape.
I don't stretch my paper, I use 300gsm 100% cotton and it does not seem to warp too much.
Karen what paper do you use?
Saunders waterford watercolour paper 7x11 inches cold pressed 300 gsm (as mentioned in video description)
