Life with Chickens after 5 Months

Welcome to our backyard flock! We have had our original gals for almost 5 months and I wanted to share an update on the flock and give y'all a coop tour. We are learning more every day about keeping chickens and how to help them thrive!
Our flock includes 2 Rhode Island Reds named Sabine and Ahsoka. Our ISA Browns are Leia and Rey. These are the original 4 and have started laying. They started laying eggs around the 4th of July.
Our younger girls are Sapphire Gems and they were hatched around April 17, 2024. Their names are Asha, Belle, Moana and Mulan. We anticipate that they will start laying eggs in 4-5 weeks now (it's been almost a week since I filmed the segment where I say 6 weeks).
