Nuclear monster legitimately makes me reconsider my stance on TDS game design [I had to go through 15 matchmaking games because without perfect team composition you literally can't win] :3333

I’m gonna have to say that Krampus was arguably the hardest boss i’ve ever played in TDS (i’ve played every event). At the time, there weren’t any really high dps towers so the health was massive at the time. He would spam stuns and with a basically perfect comp we only beat him when he was about 5 studs from entering the base

I should remind that strongest does not equal to hardest to defeat. Back then it is only outlaw (or now ranger) that is rather strong, and triggering stuff like hidden wave is quite hard. It had become significantly easier when accel rolled out with it's insane dps. So it is way harder to triumph hidden wave or even NFK I would say compared to the current nuclear monster which I can shred with accel and pursuit. Some event boss also come out at like only wave 20, such as the halloween 2021 lord sinister.
Well the reason why nuclear monster is so easy is the map the map is literally long I mean not as long as polluted wastelands but polluted wastelands 2 is literally long so if u would change it to smth like crossroads then yeah ur ded bud

Frost spirit is deinfietly easier than the creator, while the spirit had 500k more hp, it allowed for 2 extra players and the map was overrall longer than the maps you would normally do hidden wave in.
apparently there's only one Void Reaver now, there used to be 2 Void Reavers, each with 700k hp totaling up to 1.4 million hp, guess it got nerfed to 1.2 million hp and only 1 void reaver.

You didn't mention old shield, it made enemies like templar super scary, and right now templar is a joke even in solo fallen. Templar had a shield value of 2, which meant that all towers could only do a max damage of 2 per shot. Nuclear Fallen King had a shield value that cycled randomly between 1, 3 and 5, making him much harder to beat
I loved the eclipse event, all 4 of them were fun, umbra was fun, it was decently hard, and the skins were cool aswell as the tower being good. just a great event

I'm gonna be honest, power levels are a bit complicated here. This list is true if you are only looking at nowadays towers, but it'll change a lot if you think their own power level. Try killing Krampus or Halloween Bot thing without accel or engi even no golden mini (cuz no one litterally grinding for them that days). Also there weren't any public strats or strat writers to kill this bosses that days.
In my opinion, the Void Reaver is way harder than the Nuclear monster just because the fight is mainly focused on RNG. But because the video is about the Strongest I won’t complain, cool video!
For me Nuclear Monster is the strongest his summoning ability is devasting to handle unless you got a bunch of engineers at the back. For Void Reaver his summoning isn't really a threat and the slash ability which summon souls depends on how many towers he slashed, and it is pretty easy to use bait towers against that ability making it summon 1 soul instead of 10+ souls. The only threat he has is his rage mode he is super quick he could easily outrange your towers especially engineer's sentries.
Nuclear in my oppinion is very easy,I wouldn't even give it a high rating on difficulty because if you have the dps to survive wave 28,you technically win...On HC you need to bring very specific towers and need a somewhat specific loadout...On nuclear u just need to bring your strongest loudout,and you win....All comes down to scenario tho
I personally think that the sword master deserves a spot on this list. He has very low health but don’t let that fool you! At the time towers were really weak with very low dps and accelerator didn’t exist.
Fr tho i was thinking the same thing especially with the EXTREAME LACK of ground space and the dps being so low the only two towers typically used was mini and outlaw and yet i could never get enough cash to get them or upgrade them.
You didn’t need to kill the umbra in a certain time, what you’d need to do to stop it from shooting your base is to power up the cannon and when the animation to shoot your base begins, you fire it stopping the attack and stunning it for some time
to add more to the nuclear monster. - circuits can speed it up, but it rarely happens - super toxics can actually heal the boss quite a lot if a lot of them spawns - slimes, they dont need an explanation anyways void reaver summons are actually good rng

the void reaver on its own is not as hard as the nuclear monster, but due to the fact that hardcore makes everything more expensive, i always struggle with it

Raider was rough man, I started in the glad event but I got carried for that event, I also got carried for the Area 51 event, but it was so hard, especially those freezers, and the actual boss who can kill units,
You should also mention that if the nuclear monster ges close to the end and you have bad luck, he will spawn slimes wich will stun all your towers in the back leading to a defeat
I never really found NM to be all that annoying until I tried to complete stratless duo pw2 with a friend of mine. Seriously, the summon ability has become the bane of our existence and a single summon can be enough to ruin the entire run
To be honest, Umbra is way harder than Void Reaver because of requiring Accel to beat her, not only that but also someone focusing on collecting the metal gears and shoot the cannon in time instead of randomly.

I would change the rankings up Krampus would be ranked higher than both Frost Spirit and Creator. This is due to how, according to the people ive asked, it spammed icicle storm so much and the health regen basically made it extremely brutal Umbra and Void Reaver would be switched in position. Void Reavers main difficulty comes from his abilities, yet these abilities, even the more threatening ones like soul slam and void orbs, are easily negated by towers like Turret, Pursuit, Ranger and Ace Pilot. The Difficulty for Umbra however id argue is much more harder to handle, as the difficulty of her fight is based of the players. As its the players job to use the Star Cannon wisely, if it is used improperly it would punish the players VERY severely. Ranging from wasting a shot and not even affecting Umbra to letting Umbra land a free hit on the base.

Not related to the video but, i liked the old accelerator particles wayy better, it just looked more powerful then the new weird lightning one, the effects were just really smooth and made it look more powerful.
I personally think that the Frost Spirit was harder than Umbra, I beat both events (And Frost Spirit easier and on first attempt, but that was back when the event released, same day. So toxic gunner still bugged the frost spirit, after that got fixed I had a harder time with it, considering I beat Umbra in like an hour, tho its mostly 'cos of the cannon
2:50 btw the nuclear fallen king wasnt the boss of that event, the boss of that event was lord sisnister if i remember correctly, anyways nuclear fallen king was kinda like a special gamemode, he spawned when you picked fallen on a certain map
Jack O Bot also appeared in the lunar overtune update in Act 2. He suddenly had 500000 instead of 350000. Krampus returned too, and he came this update, he still has 400000 so jackobot has more health Than Krampus in his revenge.
Although before watching I already knew the answer to the question of who is the strongest boss in the game, I was still quite interested. I think that when compiling this rating, it is worth considering not only the amount of hp and abilities, but also the period in which this boss was added. Here's what I'm talking about: Personally, I think that the old bosses of 2019-2020 were harder due to the fact that at that time tds did not yet have frankly imb towers like an accelerator, and there were also not so many strategists from the community, because for which the players had to either think about the strategy themselves, or just try.
Yeah that's why I think Gunslinger isn't more difficult than the Nuclear Fallen King (NFK was super hard to beat and I think is even harder than the Frost Spirit)
I never managed to beat the sword master back in 2019 during the heights event, so I'd say that would be the hardest in my opinion because the only late game DPS you had was Minigunner and Outlaw (Along with Commander and Cyro gunner for Support)
I honestly think that krampus should be ranked a lot higher as there was no really good dps tower like accel or engineer so your best bet would be outlaws minis and turrets then the snowstorm ability was absolute pain to deal with stunning all towers (I'm pretty sure even medics for a short amount of time but also making the players barely see anything making it hard to find medics for the abiloty and chain commanders And also jack-o-bot is another real pain as he can spawn 3 jacks (150k hp) pretty often and there was almost no space for outlaws and also you didn't make much money until the final boss which meant you had to rely on rocketeers and minigunners and also a similar problem with creator's spawning spamming developers a lot and for most of the time avaible there were no accels
my mind was blown when i found out void got placed in 2nd, but after hearing about nuclear monster, srsly below and raz WHY?!?! the hardest gammode is easier than a game for a crate you can just log on 7 days in a row for, or just pay 4 dollars. remember toxic gunner? just re-add him as a reward for beating polluted
then whats the point of an event tower being a normal tower just for a gamemode's keepsake? if this happens atleast give our man toxic gunner an unobtainable skin only available from owning toxic gunner before it became a polluted wasteland reward
I defeated nuclear monster juat some days before at level 39 or 40 and there was a level 320 guy and the other two were above level 100 i guess And we aslo did not have a medic
Left and Right Hand from the Haloween 2023 Event 500k health together and really the only way to damage it is by gathering batteries and using lights to kill it while many 5k health speedy guys are coming in from everywhere, making accel not very good for that so you need VERY high splash damage guys or minigunners/gold minigunners, and also did i mention that there is around 12 twisting paths so you have no clue where the guys are coming AND the final boss comes at like wave 20. (PS i know it was made before the haloween event i just want to throw that out there) comment where you think it should be

I defeated krampus back in 2019 with the power of an old phone of a friend and his military bases, i remember that christmas while My parents where having fun drinking i was playing with them (two friends) and when krampus came he could do nothing against those hundreds of tanks. Thanks to that i have the frost blaster
For me hc boss is the hardest since it’s extremely hard to finish the 39 waves of hc and he have more strong abilities than nuclear monster also nuclear monster have extremely low path and gives tons of money and u can move ur towers every where in hc the towers cost x1.5 and u get less money + hc only accept 3 people and not 4 unlike every normal mode like this if u agree
I literally agree too for me polluted is the 2nd hardest for me but before it used to be the hardest for me because the old polluted boss had 2m+ HP but I still won So meaning the only gamemode (that's still available) that I didn't beat yet is hardcore

there was a glitch where it shot two arrows instead of one even if you used the cannon properly you would still lose 40 hp

Void reaver is more difficult as the maps are a lot smaller, as well as there being only 3 people per hardcore game (this is just my opinion)
Not related to the video but, i liked the old accelerator particles wayy better, it just looked more powerful then the new weird lightning one, the effects were just really smooth and made it look more powerful.
I personally think that the Frost Spirit was harder than Umbra, I beat both events (And Frost Spirit easier and on first attempt, but that was back when the event released, same day. So toxic gunner still bugged the frost spirit, after that got fixed I had a harder time with it, considering I beat Umbra in like an hour, tho its mostly 'cos of the cannon
Umbra made you have to search for battery’s while replacing your towers, much harder than frost spirit

no Nuclear Fallen King was the previous Polluted Wastelands boss before it got replaced by Nuclear Monster

Although before watching I already knew the answer to the question of who is the strongest boss in the game, I was still quite interested. I think that when compiling this rating, it is worth considering not only the amount of hp and abilities, but also the period in which this boss was added. Here's what I'm talking about: Personally, I think that the old bosses of 2019-2020 were harder due to the fact that at that time tds did not yet have frankly imb towers like an accelerator, and there were also not so many strategists from the community, because for which the players had to either think about the strategy themselves, or just try.
Yeah that's why I think Gunslinger isn't more difficult than the Nuclear Fallen King (NFK was super hard to beat and I think is even harder than the Frost Spirit)
I remember spending 2+ hours trying to beat the nuclear monster when it first came out, and finally beating it after 4+ tries.

I never managed to beat the sword master back in 2019 during the heights event, so I'd say that would be the hardest in my opinion because the only late game DPS you had was Minigunner and Outlaw (Along with Commander and Cyro gunner for Support)

I honestly think that krampus should be ranked a lot higher as there was no really good dps tower like accel or engineer so your best bet would be outlaws minis and turrets then the snowstorm ability was absolute pain to deal with stunning all towers (I'm pretty sure even medics for a short amount of time but also making the players barely see anything making it hard to find medics for the abiloty and chain commanders
And also jack-o-bot is another real pain as he can spawn 3 jacks (150k hp) pretty often and there was almost no space for outlaws and also you didn't make much money until the final boss which meant you had to rely on rocketeers and minigunners and also a similar problem with creator's spawning spamming developers a lot and for most of the time avaible there were no accels

As a person who faced the frost spirit it’s really short for a thing that has been resting for centuries
my mind was blown when i found out void got placed in 2nd, but after hearing about nuclear monster, srsly below and raz WHY?!?! the hardest gammode is easier than a game for a crate you can just log on 7 days in a row for, or just pay 4 dollars. remember toxic gunner? just re-add him as a reward for beating polluted
then whats the point of an event tower being a normal tower just for a gamemode's keepsake?
if this happens atleast give our man toxic gunner an unobtainable skin only available from owning toxic gunner before it became a polluted wasteland reward

Left and Right Hand from the Haloween 2023 Event 500k health together and really the only way to damage it is by gathering batteries and using lights to kill it while many 5k health speedy guys are coming in from everywhere, making accel not very good for that so you need VERY high splash damage guys or minigunners/gold minigunners, and also did i mention that there is around 12 twisting paths so you have no clue where the guys are coming AND the final boss comes at like wave 20. (PS i know it was made before the haloween event i just want to throw that out there) comment where you think it should be

I defeated krampus back in 2019 with the power of an old phone of a friend and his military bases, i remember that christmas while My parents where having fun drinking i was playing with them (two friends) and when krampus came he could do nothing against those hundreds of tanks. Thanks to that i have the frost blaster

For me hc boss is the hardest since it’s extremely hard to finish the 39 waves of hc and he have more strong abilities than nuclear monster also nuclear monster have extremely low path and gives tons of money and u can move ur towers every where in hc the towers cost x1.5 and u get less money + hc only accept 3 people and not 4 unlike every normal mode like this if u agree
