- We were happy to have The Dead South with their pile of cowboy boots over for a session when they were in Hamburg. They did a surprising cover of "House of the Rising Sun" for us after they played their great song "The Good Lord". We also let them do a classic In Bed with interview. We had a wonderful time!

What a band!
My favourite Dead South song, I could and have listened to it on repeat for hours. Something about it is beautifully crafted. Cannot wait to see them live!

I'm admitting defeat and have come to realize that you have made it far too difficult to pick a favorite song, there are just too many choices.
I think i saw somewhere that both danny and the guy playing the banjo have some problems to go in long tours. So they call this dood and that woman to replace them.
Luiz Cláudio Cardozo Chaves Yep, that's true. The cello player yeah but the banjo, the woman Eliza I think is her name, might be permanent.
@@lukewilliams8916 her name is Eliza Doyle, but she wasn't permanent. Colton Crawford came back in 2018.

He is also a heavy career man so he can't tour with us as much as he would like due to work. Luckily, Erik MehlsenO(Del Suelo), was willing to pick up the cello and begin coming on the road with us and becoming more of a member himself"

Erik Mehlsen is a great cellist, but I wouldn't say he's better than Danny Kenyon.
Beautiful, yet tragic song. I absolutely love it and get teary eyed every time. I feel for all those men and women fighting wars today. Very well written song!

And oftentimes it’s the overeager white people who will come down hard on you if you don’t describe a non-white person in whatever fashion said white person believes is the (current) “correct” way.
