@@jasonspalmparadise yeah only casualty was an aeonium which I expected anyway. A few damaged older, outer leaves to my agave americana similar to one of yours, but as you say a crazy wet winter - I'm definitely going to up my water butt capacity.
Good video. Well described. Might try a hardy agave, which one do you recommend to be the best, plus all I need to do is try and keep them as dry as possible over winter with over head shelter and try and keeps roots dry cus I have a lot of rain in Cheshire where I live 👍
Thanks. The best one uncovered is the Montana, it can survive wet and cold to a point. Yeah if you can keep them bone dry and put them in really well drained soil most will survive winter. They are some of my favourite plants so it's a relief when winters over.
Everything's looking fantastic, mate. I'll be taking the cover off my arid bed in the next week or so.
Thanks, its been so wet this winter I was expecting more damage. I'm sure yours will be fine the cover seemed to hold up well.

The Mediopicta is wonderful.
Thanks I'm really liking it too. It looks different to most other agaves.
