I love this jacket! Thank you for reviewing!
Greetings from Germany 🤗
Thanks! My pleasure 🙏
Nice review! I also ordered the Gunfighter today in coyote, I am 1,86m tall and weight 72 kg. I also ordered in M, I hope it will not be too large :-) And now I am looking forward to it :-) Stay healthy!
Glad the video helped! Enjoy your jacket 👊
Refreshing to hear a cool french accent and a European english-language gear reviewer. Greetings from Finland!
Thank you so much! 🙏
Yeah, a very good and through out review. I got one I bought like 3 years ago, but it's too small now, and I'm thinking of buying another. Some changes have been made in quality control and fit I've heard. Some new color options obviously too. Thinking of the taiga green color, really like it 👍. Some more greetings from Finland btw 😁
Thank you so much for this detailed review of this jacket. There are not many reviews of this jacket and they're not really informative. I wasn't shure about bying this jacket, but because of your video I'm going to order it.
Glad it was helpful! Stay tuned for more awesome reviews 😉
@@ALNSMOVERLAND It didn't fit 😔.
Oh no! You can make it right with Helikon-Tex right?
@@ALNSMOVERLAND ordered via Military1st. Size XL had to short arms, 2XL was like a bag. Sent it back.
That's a cool jacket and a great review, brother! 😊✌
Thanks brother! Glad you liked it 🙏
Good product review Jordan!
Thanks Lloyd! 🙏
Hi Jordan nice jacket hope you and the family are all safe and well
Thanks! We are all safe here, I hope you too 🙏
I'm just guessing here, but one reason for having "cheap pullstrings" for sleeve pocket zippers is that they can be removed without cutting anything.
Is this jacket good for blocking out sun? and is not really hot?
Une veste de qualité! 👍
Ouais elle est top !
Great review! I order right now gunfighter jacket shadow grey in size Medium for 100euros from Austria. I'm 180cm height and 80kg weight, 32 on waist and chest size 97cm. I think it would fit me good and I would be able to wear some vest or fleece underneath it. What do you think? I assume Large would be way to big in arms and i don't like baggy fit overall. Tnx!
Greetings from Croatia!
Yes! I have pretty much the same body size and went with the M. Fits nice and I can wear hoddies or fleece under it without any problems. 👍
How has the color been for you and how do you wash the jacket? I bought gunfighter in navy blue but i fear that colour will fade in time..
The color is did fade at all so far! 👍 Before I had a cheap Chinese one and the color fadded so fast... It was clearly visible when removing the patches from the shoulder velcro panel. But the Helikon-Tex did a great job so far!
To wash it, I do that by hand 😉
I use to have size M. However, I want to wear it over a Helikon Patriot double fleece. Would you recommend a size L? Thanks in advance
I think in depends how the size M fits you. I can wear a fleece under mine 😉
Awesome
I think the reason for the paracord on sleeve zipper is just so you can take it out if you dont use this pocket
Good thinking!
Quality changed a bit since the first really durable and high quality Gunfighter which helped me survive more than 10k km survival trip. Im not saying quality gap is big but it is a gap indeed. Altough it is obvious that well managed company cut expenses and try to keep quality while use cheaper materials and use it less per item. Just wanted to share my expierence because I am looking back with a doze of sentiment. I miss my old yellow banded Gunfighter. After 6 years it is still in better shape than newer version used only on a day-to-day basis in city life after 2 years (!).
Thank you for your honest review and opinion. I haven't bought Helikon-Tex gear for a long time but I did see a few complaints lately about the quality of their lastest products 🤔
Hopefully they will make it right!
@@ALNSMOVERLAND I just recieved brand new one, this one which you reviewed on the video. Im curious about how it will be doing. If this one will be so crappy like previous one maybe it will be good idea to write kind a petition or just look for another brand.
Is this jacket silent when you move?
I want to say yes. The fabric is pretty soft and not noisy when it rub on itself. The zipper have plastic ends so no "rattling"
What size do you wear in the video?
Size M for 1,84m/80kg 😉
Nice
Thanks!
Did you buy this yourself or did they send it to you?
It was a birthday gift from my girlfriend!
Gun fighter military style bro 👍
Yes!
very nice review..... greetings from Overland Bound #15073 Switzerland
Thanks! 🙏 OB5693 here 😁
Is that Shadow gray or ash grey?
It's shadow grey!
@@ALNSMOVERLAND Thanks :) Btw nice moody video 👌
Pour un frenchy.... bel effort sur l accent .....vraiment 😉
Ahaha merci 😁🙏
How tall are you?
1,84m / 6ft
@@ALNSMOVERLAND And that's the medium? Dang. I'm slender as well and 6'3. Looks like it has the length. Worried large will be too big
Yes M/regular 😉
And I can wear a big hoodie/fleece under it.
L will probably be to big/large
Everyone is greeting you from all over the Europe, maybe all over the world. But I'm curious way too far about your accent or your native language. I know that it's just secondary issue, but I'm just curious. Cause you mentioned weight in kilos and "US dollars" I assume, that you're from the Europe, maybe northern parts our continent. I bet you're Finnish. Am I right? I'm Czech FIY. Btw your review of this jacket is great.
Ahah I'm definitely from Europe! And you are not the first to think that I'm Finnish. But nope, I'm French! 👊
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🙏🙏
Yo
To !
Just you need time for body building gym ... put that in your schedule and take a hunting course and license bro ...
Are you saying I'm all skinny?! Ahaha just kidding. I actually started to workout more seriously. And after the quarantine I might subscribe to a gun range to get my license and stuff 😉
Dont forget to wear under jacket bullet proof kit lol ...
😂😂😂
The cons are why I wouldn’t buy this jacket
And that's why I made this video! Glad it helped you decide
LMAO you paid 130$ for this? You can get the same exact jacket on aliexpress for 25$ and it comes in lots of colors and camo patterns.I have one in a greenish kryptek camo it's the exact same jacket.
It won't last long, I had the aliexpress one before this 😉
@@ALNSMOVERLAND we will see some guys reviewed it and other than a broken zipper its all fine and dandy
Made in China??! 👎🏼👎🏼 looks cool too but big nope
So much stuff is made in China today, you can hardly avoid it. The company Helikon-Tex is from Poland, so at least there is some European quality control, unlike the stuff that comes from Chinese companies where you never really know.
@@maximilianmustermann5763 if you look you can find mostly anything not made in China. You pay an extra dollar or two and it will last 50x’s longer. I’m good at it I’ve been selective over the last decade. I refuse to waste my money on garbage China uses trash materials. The people of Poland should know better than to be cheap
