When I was a kid in the 80s, my family always spent the summer vacations on Krk. I heard the island has changed a lot since back then and it is mostly "Ibiza style" party tourism now, but in this footage, it still looks not too differently from how I remember it and that gives me a lot of nostalgia. Back in my time it was very basic and crude from a tourism perspective. Basically just camping grounds and a few restaurants serving really bad food near the beaches, hehe. Still, even the bad food was kind of part of the whole vacation experience and we didn't mind, at least we kids didn't. The very last such vacation we spent in Baska. It was the first one that wasn't a camping trip with a trailer, but instead my parents rented a house in the city. It was a dump, hehehe. No plaster, color or wall paper on the walls, just exposed bricks, even though the house was pretty old. It still was nice. I remember laying in bed at night, hearing a slow and mournful version of "Quantanamera" wafting over the ocean from some night club on a different beach.
Ive been to baska many times with my family, last year i took some friends there and i use this video to encouraged them to go there. Love it, Baska for life. Thank you Michal :)
I need to add another comment. Your English is impeccable. I say it's impossible to perfect any language if you do not live among natives. And your grammar and vocabulary beat almost everybody's level. If you live in Poland, you are phenomenal! Regardless, I congratulate you on your tremendous achievements.

Byłem rok temu .7 dni deszczu ,3 dni pogody i to w lipcu. Ja miałem pecha niestety .Ale miejsce piękne mimo tak złej pogody. Dla mnie ten filmik jest ciekawszy niż to co widziałem na żywo niestety .
Byłem na przełomie sierpnia i września i przez cały pobyt żar lał się z nieba. Dopiero w dniu wyjazdu pojawiło się wyraźne ochłodzenie i zaczęło padać. Widocznie w tym miejscu pogoda kapryśna jak nad Bałtykiem 😉
I didn't rent a boat in Baška, so I can't help with it. I had very good food at the Francesca restaurant (not the cheapest) and the Poper restaurant (right by the sea). I ate light dinners at Konoba Placa with local wine and I had the best local fast food at "Fast food despet" - I recommend Kebabcici.
