Fantastic video! Really makes me think if I should take this course before my next chaotic business trip vlog 😅 I'm excited to see what you're gonna make with these new skills!
If you're going to do more travel vlogs, I'd def recommend it. One of the things that helped the most was knowing how to pick an angle, then craft the general story structure/arc, and knowing which shots to get, so I could just get my shots and then put my camera away and enjoy my trip (vs shooting everything non-stop). Haha yeah, watching the course has made me want to cut together a lot of my travel footage, we'll see!
“I feel so lucky to be alive” that part made me lol. You have the best reviews on these things. Didn’t realize you took this course as well. It’s looks so good
For sure, I think you'd really enjoy this course for storytelling and your travel vlogs - it definitely helped me before I traveled through Europe this summer. Otherwise I think I would have shot everything all the time, and then gone crazy trying to make sense in the edit. Actually you might like some of their other travel courses on Bright Trip. I subscribed (it's not as expensive as buying the flagship course) for a few months to access "How to Document Your Trip" - super good travel course too.
Thanks! That's Patricc Shoe, my "twin" brother and Self-Proclaimed Productivity Guru. He's hi-jacked my channel a few times ruclips.net/video/aL-tD1Xm5nQ/видео.html
Hey @peter! This was a great tour of the course and really helpful. Intrigued by their idea of three levels of storytelling. Christopher Brooker reckons there are seven basic plots to any story; I suspect it’s been simplified here for travel vlogging, which is fair enough - that’s what the course is about! Oh, and the seven basic plots? 1) overcoming the monster 2) rags to riches 3) the quest 4) voyage and return 5) comedy 6) tragedy 7) rebirth. Something to ponder in your next video 😅!
Hey Rondel glad it helped. If you have time follow the Bright Trip Twitter sometimes they tweet out deals like 30 to 50 pct off. Probably will have a sale for Black Friday, hf!
This is a SUPER helpful video! Made my decision to get the course. Thanks a lot Peter!

@@PeterSu that makes a lot of sense. The more ways you can think about storytelling, using different perspectives and tools - the better imo!

Thanks for the video, save my money to later
Glad it helped you and happy travel vlogging!
Thanks for this. Been debating taking the course and you’ve definitely helped me make my decision!
