Same here can't wait till season starts
Correction: Gregg Williams was the interim Head Coach in 2018 after Hue Jackson was fired, NOT Freddie Kitchens
Also said that Kevin Stefanki was 27, when I should have said 37
Another, 6:56 Austin Corbett was never the Browns RG. He sat behind Kevin Zeitler as a rookie, and then Eric Kush and Wyatt Teller in his 2nd year. Despite Dorsey spending a high 2nd round pick on him, the coaching staff didn't believe in him. So, he was traded to the Rams where he's their starting RG. He doing ok, but I'm glad that Browns have Wyatt Teller.
This video needs to be pulled and re-edited. I almost choked when u said Freddie was the interim. Seriously i turned it off. Not being mean but thats a huge gaffe.
Thanks for saying that. I’m not watching this
@@scottskerl3072 Unfortunately that would take hours to do. If I get things wrong I just leave it in the comments, I wish it were easier to make corrections
I came down here to say that- but that makes it even crazier that they would promote kitchens since he was just half a season OC. Also Dorsey didn't get fired I think he walked
Despite all the mistakes Dorsey made its undeniable that without him none of this would have been remotely possible..
And without Hue, more would have been possible.
The Dorse was an Excellent talent scout not so much when it came to personality issues. Yes he was instrumental drafting our now core players but people forget Shashi was a big part of that also. Hes the one that that stockpiled the draft Capital and the Cap money we have even today.
and its sad cuz the browns still arent even close to contenders
@@timedimes what?

Andrew Barry was a senior when i was a sophomore in high school. Lived right down the street. He's a great dude!
Now we just got Clowney! This off-season is getting better and better.
Okay did Hunt have a bad past? yes, HOWEVER, you can not call bringing him in a negative. He has been an absolute stud
He only made one mistake like Myles Garrett did but he has bounced back just like him as well
@@lakerskid2013 myles garrett mistake and kareems are not comparable. Kareem was beating up a girl. All garrett did was hit some dude on the head with a helmet. And the guy didnt even get hurt.

I have one thing to say.
GO BROWNS! 🏈
Correction: The Browns promoted Gregg Williams to Head Coach not Kitchens after Jackson was fired..
Yeah Hue Jackson and Tods Haley were fired and then Gregg Williams became the HC and Kitchens became the OC
And Stefanski is much older than 27. But maybe he was talking about his start with Minnesota
I watched every single game I could growing up when they were terrible. I watched a lot of years of real bad football. I'm so happy it's looking like it's genuinely finally over for a little while.
When the Browns win a Superbowl, their victory music video should start off with Mike Polk's "Factory of Sadness" rant fading into Freddie Mercury's voice singing "I've paid my dues, time after time..."
Or "tonight, im gonna have myseeeeelf, a real good tiiime."
life long browns fan. i'm just happy to go into a season with a reason to believe. DAWGCHECK!!!
I've been a Browns fan for 47 years and I'm very excited about the upcoming season. The only downside of the Browns' success is that they don't have 3-4 first round picks like they used to and they draft so late that I will have an ulcer watching so many good edges and LBs get snatched up.
@@johnk.2508 i'm only 40 years old but in a way that's kinda worse because i'm too young to remember the Kosar era well so literally them leaving followed by 20 years of failure is all i have to hang onto until this season
@@GetAwesomeGaming The first game I attended was against the Giants in 1973. Leroy Kelly was at the end of his career and Greg Pruitt was a rookie.
I'm glad I had the Kardiac Kids and the Kosar years to help me through the last 20 years or so. It's been rough but I think we're in for some great years now.

That wind off the lake is ok when you're dressed for it but when you're dressed for summer it has teeth.
You say that the Browns 2018 wasn't a stellar draft after all. The first 3 picks radically changed the Browns. Think I'm lying?
10months later: How the 0-16 browns became super bowl champs in 5 years
They are top 3 contenders.
And I believe we are the Best Suited in the AFC to beat Kansas City the Bill's would probably be the hardest matchup for us so I Totally Agree with you.
@@crzyking6821 I'm not even a Browns fan completely. I sort of root for them cause the Steelers are irritating, and they've always been the underdog. A lot of people overlook the Browns. My team is the Redskins, and I believe that we're darkhorse contenders. A lot of people overlook us too, but our only problem was Dwayne Haskins, and both our offensive, and defensive roster got better, and we already had a top 3 defense.
@@youtubegm3227 Get ready to ride the Fitzmagic! I really do think you guys can win the East!
@@matthewpallenik1407 We were under a touchdown away from going 11-5 last year. We had Haskins in 4 or more games that we lost by under a touchdown. Our offense and defense have gotten better since then, and Fitzmagic is currently a better version of healthy Alex Smith. We have a top 3 defense, top 10 receiving core, good TE, good RB's, top 10 O-line(had a 77.76 average PFF Grade), and Fitzmagic is at least 2 times better than Haskins.
What makes #6 Baker so great at throwing on the run is something most QBs dont have, it's the way Bakers able to square his hips and Snap them accompanied with his great arm strength. Check it out you'll see what I'm talking about.
Oh trust me i do. Ive been watching tom brady for years. Him and tom are alike. Of course baker has a LONG way to go before that is ever talked abiut but if he stands his ground i can see him becoming a franchise qb easily
The rebuild did start with Sashi Brown and all the draft picks he acquired. He didn't have an eye for talent unlike Dorsey as AB is finishing what the other 2 previously have started. Looks like the analytical approach is working. Go Browns
2018 will go down as one of the best drafts ever. And Kareem Hunt was a steal.
Can't help but to be happy for the Browns as a Bills fan. Especially cool that we both got our first playoff win in the same season.
After Hue Jackson was fired it was Greg Williams that took over as Head Coach not Freddy he was the OC. His relationship with Baker as OC was the reason he was hired as HC in 2019 which was a Total Dumpster Fire.
Remember that Freddy was only the interim OC. Before Hue got fired Todd Haley was the OC who was fired with Hue.
As a browns fan I agree with everything you said except at 8:23. Kareem is a good ass dude and is clearly respected by everyone in the locker room. Not to mention he runs the ball hard as hell
He is a good dude, but i’m sure a lot of teams had him off their radar because of the video that came out about him. But looking back, it was smart to bring him in
Yo your videos are pretty dope. Should do one on the Colts for this season 🤟
So happy for the City of Cleveland...been along time...now it's about time...so excited for the fans...I can just feel the electricity building for the SEASON to start
2018 was a great draft overall. very rarely do u find 3 pro bowl/franchise type players
Love this!!! Nice video
BEST MOST DETAILED VIDEO OF MY BROWNS I'VE WATCHED! YOU'RE AWESOME THANK YOU!
Makes almost 15 years over watching the browns feel worth it.
It's been 36 years for me. And it is worth it. Looking forward to the best year that I've witnessed as a Browns fan
2018 wasn't a steller draft for the Browns? They got one of the best running backs in football (Chubb), a Pro Bowl-caliber CB (Ward) and the franchise's first good quarterback in three decades (Mayfield). That's a steller draft. Most draft picks are misses. The '74 Steelers had the GOAT draft and they still took ten or eleven guys that didn't do anything in the NFL. If you get three players the caliber of Chubb, Ward and Mayfield, that is definitely a steller draft, IMO.
Picking Myles Garrett over Mitch Tribinsky in 2017 was the start of the turn around! At that time it was serious debate, thats how messed up they were.
Crazy to think it took 20 years to see this team put together correctly. They are gonna be fun to watch and might even make it to the Superbowl. Nuts.
Being a Cleveland fan all my life seems to be paying off. Thank the lord.

HAHAHHA I love the ending. 'They seem to have the right coach and GM in place". How many time have we heard that before?
Since 1999 they've had exactly two good coaches and 2 good GM'S. Stefanski and Chudzinski were the coaches and Dorsey and Barry the GM's I likeed Dorsey and I love Barry.

I love what the Browns are doing. If they can just pass block like Brady had early in his Patriot career. They'd be the team to beat. Even right now, I have them as the team to beat in their division. Andrew B, doing it right!
Very nicely crafted video. Yes there were a few mistakes, but overall Very Nicely Done.
I would suggest you put together a video investigating how the NFL brought in the prior two expansion teams Carolina and Jacksonville. Look at what they were given to become competitive. Both teams were in conference championships within 2 years. The NFL freaked out and totally nerfed the process when the Browns came back in '99. Most people don't know how much the NFL changed the process. I think it would make an interesting video.
Gotta say it’s crazy how quick this happend
Imma be so happy when the season starts back up
DPJ my favorite player. I believe he deserves to

Great production value!
Gregg Williams was the interim head coach. Freddie was the interim OC, then promoted to HC the following year.
This Makes The Browns really good and probably made a record from the clowns to the top 5 AFC team and divisional rounder team.
“Not a stellar draft” fast forward to 2021 Nick Chubb is the best RB in the NFl
You spelled Derrick henry wrong
Williams was name head coach to finish the year kitchens was promoted to offensive cord, then the next year kitchens names HC.
Nicely done ✅
Went from Hue Jackson and Deshone Kizer to Kevin Stefanski and Baker Mayfield, oh and we made the playoffs too and beat the Steelers.
Corvette Corvette
The 2029 O-line was just fine. 🤷🏻♂️ Think you missed on that one! Nice post! 👍🏻
Say what you want about John Dorsey but he drafted Baker Mayfield Denzel Ward and Nick Chubb and then traded for Jarvis juice Landry. That's pretty f****** good in my book
Jarvis is the heart and soul of the Browns.
And now they got Clowney and some good draft steals. This team is loaded.
Ok saying a draft that included Mayfield, Chubb and Ward wasn’t stellar is dumb.then saying Kitchens was the head coach at the end of 2018 going 5-3 even dumber.(Greg Williams was the guy) so I stopped at 5:38. Work on your facts.
The only thing I really disagree with is your take on Dorsey saying he missed quite a bit. He really had 2 mistakes hiring Freddie kitchens and drafting Callaway but that was a high risk high reward 4th round pick so I don’t get hung up on it because not a ton of 4th round picks turn out to be quality players and it was one pick. You could say Corbett was a miss but when you consider you basically parlayed him for Wyatt teller that ended up working out
At the 5:01 mark, you made an error : Gregg Williams was promoted to interim HC after Hue Jackson was fired. Freddie was promoted to the offensive coordinator position after the Browns fired Todd Haley.
We COMING!
I’m a patriots fan, but I always hope the browns do well. Not really sure what it is about them but I like to see them win
Short answer: Myles Garrett and baker Mayfield
Dont forget chubb.....the best runningback in the nfl
Kitchens was not the intern Head Coach, Greg Williams was. Kitchens was promoted to OC
When Browns go from a Trash fire team to a debatable AFC Champion Team in just 3 years.
(Edit): Ngl I never seen a team go 0-16 to the next two years being 7-8-1 and 6-10 to then 11-5 and almost make it to the Conference Championship.
(One of the fastest dominant rebuilds in my opinion)
6-10 isn't that bad
Kitchens wasn’t the head coach the last half of 2018, it was Gregg Williams. Kitchens was promoted to OC after they fired Todd Haley
Not gonna lie, Dorsey may have not got along very well with the rest of the front office, and did things like hire fat Freddie, which was a big mistake but, danggg was he good at drafting against all odds!
I just wanted to post the fact that Hue Jackson thought Robert Griffin and Carlos Hyde were better than Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb. And he wonders why he couldnt win games.
Robert Griffin was going to. Be a great qb, but Washington couldnt keep him protected and told him to stay un the pocket. When he needs to scramble, so he got hurt
Do NOT underestimate James Wood Johnson!!!
I am calling it Browns will have as super bowl in 3 years or less. If not they will be a playoff contender for the next 3 years
I don’t think any other quarterback could have survived in situation. I think Allen,Rosen and darnold would have cracked under the pressure. Mayfield has always had to over coke set backs so he was the perfect guy.
remove Allen from that list
TRUTH. Sam Darnold Didn't Survive maybe he'll take a step with The Panthers but we'll see.
@@JayJay-lk2wr Why remove Allen ?
And Rosen is a backup already.

Honestly, I don't remember the exact timeline. I wasn't buying and selling with my brain, I was with my heart.
But , I gotta say, I appreciate the business advice. Will look at my 401? Maybe pick a few winning ponies for me so I can retire earlier, cuz my Tim Couch nest egg ruined me.. Smh. Smart ass.
GO BROWNS, WOOF-WOOF
We did not go 50 years without a championship, The Cleveland Crunch won three titles back-to-back in the 90s.
💯 hahaha 🤣 😂
If a parallel can be drawn the Steelers drafted Joe Green and Terry Bradshaw in successive seasons. 1969 and 1970. Myles Garrett and Baker Mayfield in successive seasons for the Browns. 2017 and 2018. The Steelers had been a doormat for decades. The Browns have been a dormat for decades. The Steelers had French Fuqua, Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier. The Browns have Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and D'Earnest Johnson. I think Johnson could be a starter on another team.
The Steelers were Super Bowl winners in 74, 75, 78, 79. The run started in Bradshaw's 4th season. This is Mayfield's 4th season. Garrett's 5th. Just like Mean Joe. Curious, don't you think?
God bless y’all l
People don’t realize that John Dorsey built the Chiefs and Browns.
Drafted Patrick and Baker.
Heck, in four years? They could have drafted an O-line with their high picks those four years. I hope they are not like the 2009 Jets and quickly slip back into obscurity. Haven't seen a good Browns team since Leroy Kelly retired.
Uh..You definitely missed the Bernie Kosar Browns when the made the AFC Championship 3 years. And they will not mirror the 2009 Jets. They drated a top 5 corner, top 5 defensive end/linebacker with exceptional cover skills, and one of the fastest wide receivers in college football from Auburn, and signed Jadaveon Clowney. Not saying they will make the Super Bowl but the Browns will be absolutely dangerous this coming season. Go Dawgs! WOOF!
This is our window, and until it happens, I cant get excited its to painful.
Also the browns signed jadavion Clouney
I'm not even a Browns fan and I have them going 13-4. That team last year PLUS John Johnson, Troy Hill, Malik Jackson, Takk McKinley, Jadeveon Clowney, Greg Newsome, and JOK. They are also getting Grant Delpit and OBJ back. It's going to be interesting to see which team will not make the AFC Championship, KC, Buffalo, or Cleveland
Answer is Cleveland

Dorsey didn’t trust Depodesta. Neither did I. We were wrong apparently. Him AB and most importantly Kevin Stefanski have changed the culture for my Browns. Thank the lord

I feel like the browns will earn more respect with more consistency honestly. I'm not dissing or saying they're not a good team because they did prove everyone wrong last year but what I am saying is they do have good years but don't the next. So if they can pull off same record or better this season I think people will show more respect and won't consider them the same old browns like they have been. I'm a Raven's fan but I've always respected the browns even when others didn't. Even when they had hard times I had faith they would figure it out.

People really give Couch a lot of shit for being a bust and poor player. The fact and reality is Tim was our best QB we drafted since the expansion. He's probably the best player not named Joe Thomas, pre- Baker era.
His numbers also weren't bad, especially considering he ran for his life every single week. The O line never protected him and Tim was our first and only 3 year starter since drafting Baker.
Tim did the best he could with what he had and I think he had a hell of a career here. Because trust me boys, it got worse. Much, much worse.
Stefanski and Mayfield have the chance of being the next Belichick Brady. The chance only, but that depends more on Stefanski than anyone else with the Browns. Belichick would have had the 4th and inches against the Chief's schemed out and practiced prior to the game.
Dorsey was tje best gm the browns have had since ernie accorsi in the 80s. He laid tje foundation fkr what the browns are now and should still be the gm
2:18 They also had two first rounders in 2015: #12 DT Danny Shelton and #19 Erving. Shelton was a decent run stuffer, but a liability on passing downs, He's still in the NFL as a niche line clogger. And he was best of the six "double-first rounders" that the Browns had between 2012-2015. Richardson/Weeden (2012) both awful, Gilbert/Manziel (2014) even worse! and Shelton/Erving (2015) JAGs. The Browns drafts between 2011-2016 were beyond awful. The only players left on the Browns' roster from them are Pro-Bowl LG Joel Bitonio #35 in 2014 and WR Rashard Higgins #172 in 2016.
Respect for a great synopsis. I salute you!
*GO BROWNS!!*
Well when you have like 20 straight top 10 picks you are bound to start putting a decent team together
Not necessarily. You need a smart GM. In one draft John Dorsey radically changed the Browns. Think I'm lying?
