Oh Holly, what a pleasure to watch a beautiful youngster. Dali is going to take you places, once he sorts out that all four corners have legs and what order they need to go in the same as every youngster. He looks so much like his mum and he's a gentle giant but a gentleman.
Beautiful Communication, you are telling that lovely horse where to go, what to do, and supporting her all the way with gentle minimal aid, perfect! Xxx 🇬🇧
Earlyy❤ great work, Pickle (i love that name)! Dalis progress that he made is amazing! ☺️And of course, can we just talk about how great your seat is, Holly?🥰🔥
Dali already looks so comfortable under the saddle and it's so wonderful to see to trust you have in eachother. And Pickle is defintely as cute as her name. :)
I love everything about this video. It's just so cool watching you start these young horses and see how they progress from day one. And can I just point out Dali's big round belly? Like seriously, what a happy and healthy young boy he is! All of your horses are so well mannered and you (and your parents!) obviously look after them so well. Every time your videos come out, they literally are the highlight of my day :) Thanks for always sharing your journey and Happy New Years!
Looks like you’ve got another superstar in the making !! It’s incredible how Dali is going having been broken only 2 weeks !! You do an incredible job with your young horses Holly !! Can’t wait to follow his journey 🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I admire you so much as a rider! Its not because you jump big tracks but because you are such a naturally soft and correct rider and how well you do with the green horses. I am always so impressed by how correct your newly broke horses are. And that's not something that anyone can really teach you how to do. I really look up to how you ride and train your horses. I hope that I can develop into a rider that presents themselves as well as you do!
Both of your horses did very well. And, you ride very well also. You have a lovely seat and quiet hands. You should be very proud! By the way, I love your dad. He's so sweet.💕🐴🐎🙂
I always look forward to your videos. Your training/riding abilities just get better and better. Even when I didn't think you needed to improve! I am excited to be able to watch the progress of these horses😱
When I have a young horse I’m gonna send it to you. You always are so patient with the horses and have such nice hands. But I compliment you all the time so ;)
I love watching the horses, but your dad’s commentary is the greatest!! It’s a tie, I’m not sure which is better the horses on your channel or your dad making jokes while you ride😂😂 In any case, thanks for sharing your shenanigans!
I’m in love with Pickle. She seems to have such smooth gaits 😻😻😻 and Dali, wow, can he be more chill!!! You do an awesome job, I’m just sad that you are half way around the world from me, cause I would have sent you my baby 100% when she’ll be ready to be started!!!
How sweet is pickle! Such a nice mover and I’m amazed at how Dali has come along 🥰 edit : watching more of the video pickle reminds me a bit of welbeck when she becomes more careful to jump!
You should definitely post a video about how you started a horse under saddle and to jump im about to start two of my fillies by myself for the first time and I need as many tips as possible!!😀
In order to do a thumbs down or up for that matter you should have to leave a comment as to why you like or dont like. He is coming on great, i love the other horse at the fence watching. Thanks Holly
I’m vegetarian but I don’t eat a special diet and I’m also really bad at going to the gym haha but maybe if I get my shit together this year I’ll make a video on it ☺️
Both of your horses are amazing!!! Watched the whole video 🥰🥰🥰 I’m planning to break my 5yo to jumping once the weather gets better as I don’t have an arena but I hire them at the weekend 💗💗🐴🐴 -Thea xx
Love your videos - I find it super interesting how different horses jump in different shapes and how that develops with practice and I presume muscular development (?) like Pickles front legs as she begins to land after the last jump were really entertaining to watch hahah is that just because she's young and still learning how to carry herself 'properly'?
he reminds me of khal because both of them kind of curl behind the verticle. but with khal it was kind of fixed so. you should also consider schooling on both leads instead of only one.
Wait you're actually Australian? When did you move to Ireland? You've a stronger irish accent than me and I've lived here all me life. Born and raised too.
Are you seriously jumping a horse after only two weeks of being broken under saddle? You're seriously going to skip an entire YEAR AND A HALF of flatwork, polework, cavalletti work, and dressage training that should be done with any young horse before jumping anything whatsoever? Did you even long-line, ground drive, and lunge your horse with side reins and a chambon before breaking him to ride? I'm guessing not, because he has zero muscular development, especially in his topline. This is a complete and utter joke and it's scary how little young riders know about riding and training today.
If you have a problem with an obviously well started, balanced horse jumping a single cross pole (which is about the same size as the cavalettis you recommend me doing) then you really need to re-evaluate your priorities.
How is your dad like the star of every video? LOL Love him.
I know, he’s always stealing my limelight! 😂
Just can’t get over that boys size!! I would look like a toddler on him!! 🤣 beautiful riding Holly 👍❤️
I'm seriously in love with Pickle! 😍
same
Pickles trot is unreal!! The way that he or she picks his or her feet up is stunning! 😍
i love the white fuzz Dali has on his belly, he really is a hairy gentle monster ❤️
He’s so nicely forward and rhythmical. All of your horses march! It’s lovely.
Oh Holly, what a pleasure to watch a beautiful youngster. Dali is going to take you places, once he sorts out that all four corners have legs and what order they need to go in the same as every youngster. He looks so much like his mum and he's a gentle giant but a gentleman.
Haha thank you so much!
Dali works SO NICELY!! And that beautiful trot 😍😍😍😍😍😍 wow wow wow wow

Also can’t wait to see Dali jumping Huge later on, he rides so well 🐴
Beautiful Communication, you are telling that lovely horse where to go, what to do, and supporting her all the way with gentle minimal aid, perfect! Xxx 🇬🇧
I love how your Dad and the chickens always steal the video when they’re in it 😂 Great work 💝
I just can't get over how big he is! Big through the body, big boned, big head. I love him.
Earlyy❤ great work, Pickle (i love that name)! Dalis progress that he made is amazing! ☺️And of course, can we just talk about how great your seat is, Holly?🥰🔥
Haha thank you! I love the name too!
Dali already looks so comfortable under the saddle and it's so wonderful to see to trust you have in eachother. And Pickle is defintely as cute as her name. :)
Dali looks so, so good! Incredible, for such a short amount of time under saddle!!
Your dad is a legend! 😂😂

Omg you look so tiny compared to him I love it😂
Dali and Cal have the best trots! I want a hunter horse like that haha
Dali literally schools better than my 13yr old?! How is this fair 😂😍😍😍😍😍
I admire you so much as a rider! Its not because you jump big tracks but because you are such a naturally soft and correct rider and how well you do with the green horses. Thank you so much, that’s so lovely to hear ❤️
Pickle, what a fantastic name! Love it!

How sweet is pickle! Such a nice mover and I’m amazed at how Dali has come along 🥰 edit : watching more of the video pickle reminds me a bit of welbeck when she becomes more careful to jump!
Your channel is the best ❤
Your dad nailed the Aussie accent!
Your dad is so cute haha! Also Dali is doing ace!
You should definitely post a video about how you started a horse under saddle and to jump im about to start two of my fillies by myself for the first time and I need as many tips as possible!!😀

SHe looks so powerful 💕❤️
Bravo!! Well done!
In order to do a thumbs down or up for that matter you should have to leave a comment as to why you like or dont like. He is coming on great, i love the other horse at the fence watching. Thanks Holly
👋🏻 hello how big is your arena? It looks really really lovely 😊
Awww cute reminds me of my own horse
Omg thank you for the heart ♥️
I love pickle’s name
Your dad is so funny lol. "matematematematemate"
Holly - would you be interested in making a video on how you stay fit? Do you eat a special diet and/or workout routine?
I’m vegetarian but I don’t eat a special diet and I’m also really bad at going to the gym haha but maybe if I get my shit together this year I’ll make a video on it ☺️
You’re so good at cantering! Could you maybe give me some tips, I just started?
Hey, Holly! Do you think you could do a video about teaching horses leads? Thanks!
Both of your horses are amazing!!! Watched the whole video 🥰🥰🥰 I’m planning to break my 5yo to jumping once the weather gets better as I don’t have an arena but I hire them at the weekend 💗💗🐴🐴 -Thea xx
Good luck with your 5 yr old! ☺️
Holly Lenahan tysm 🥰
You look like such an amazing rider! How long have you been riding for? New subscriber here! 😍 love your channel and keep up the great work 🥰❤️
Maybe around 13 years? I’m not sure to be honest!
nice....very good job......
Your dad should do a voice over video! 😂
Love your videos - I find it super interesting how different horses jump in different shapes and how that develops with practice and I presume muscular development (?) like Pickles front legs as she begins to land after the last jump were really entertaining to watch hahah is that just because she's young and still learning how to carry herself 'properly'?
Yup she’s only just starting her jumping properly so she has lots to learn but she has a lot of raw talent ☺️
Omg I’m early for once ! 🤭💎🦄
i could listen to your dad talk all day, tho his aussie accent needs some work 😂😂
How I wish I could send elska to you to be backed and broken, wishing I wasn’t in England 😭😍
Awh thank you ❤️
Were you born in oz? My partner was and lost her accent. Now we’re back in oz and I think she’s getting it back.
Yes I was! I wonder if I’ll get it back if I work there for a while haha
Is that plain sand you have on your arena?
The 1k likes and then there is the 3 bislikes
he reminds me of khal because both of them kind of curl behind the verticle. but with khal it was kind of fixed so. you should also consider schooling on both leads instead of only one.
I wish my toes could be as perfectly forward as hollys🙈🤩🤩
Super
2 WEEKS broken??? Why is life so unfair to me :(
XD
Wait you're actually Australian? When did you move to Ireland? You've a stronger irish accent than me and I've lived here all me life. Born and raised too.
Yup, I moved to Ireland when I was around 7 ☺️
How big is your arena and do you think it's big enough or too big for just yourself
It’s around 40x60 and I think it’s perfect because it means I can set up a course ☺️
Your dad completes this video haha
My horse dose jump and she and 16 1hands and she has long legs to and tall.horse and she is 5 year old and I did train her
When did u get the new horses
They’re schooling liveries, not my own horses. And dougie arrived 4 weeks ago and pickle last week
@@HollyLenahanSJ oh hope you get on well
Gee your brave lmao
I still keep thinking Dali is about 2! Where’s time gone?
Hey holly, so i noticed your ankles constantly tap the horse during trot. Is that intentional or is there is a reason?
That’s me squeezing them as I rise. I find it helps stop them being dead to the leg
Isn't it annoying? To the horse or are they used to it and dont mind.
Comment how many horses u have i have 4 one is a desi stallion and 3 are beutiful mares i love my mares and they are thoroughbred
I'm just start ing her on a jump ing her and I'm starting her on a jump
That don’t make sense just pointing that out
how on earth do you keep your lower leg so still 😳
No stirrup work and riding lots of horses! ☺️
