Loved the video, but there was one thing you missed. When talking with Kaladin, Wit mentions that he was named for a rock. A beautiful one which became completely worthless on his wearing it. This was the Topaz which he was named after, and since it lost his value with him wearing it is likely a Dawnshard the same as the mural that Rysn received hers from.
Here are a couple videos I did on the death rattles as part of my Stormlight recaps series. They're honestly really crappy and not quite what you're asking for, as I try to avoid spoilers in them. Part 1 epigraphs: ruclips.net/video/R5SFOfYBc2o/видео.html Part 4 epigraphs: ruclips.net/video/caMUhYZWBDI/видео.html
I never made the connection that the mess coalescing into a blade and the mist on Scadrial until I saw this video a week ago... As a Patreon member. (Shameless plug)
This foreshadowing happens again in Book 2 where its said: All is withdrawn from me, I stand against the one who saved my life, protect the one who broke my promises, I raise my hand, the storm responds. Or smth like this, i am too lazy to look it up
Imangine me: starting the cosmere with Stormlight 1 and 2. Trying and failing to connect all this while thinking in that book's scope... Then, after reading Mistborn era 1 and Warbreaker, the re-read was illuminating :D
Awesome job! I love that I always have to slow down your videos from 2x back to 1x speed because you fill them with so much information! I'm gonna start taking notes for future re-reads :)
Bonus fun fact (not really a spoiler) We find out by book four the reason Szeth wore white when he was to kill a king. The Listeners (Parshendi) had a tradition to wear white when challenging another family to battle. The reason was the same as raising a white flag to signal surrender or a flag of war in this case.
How are you planning on doing Edgedancer and Dawnshard? As a couple, or rolled into one of the others? Also when's WoR coming out? I want to know how long I have for my reread
I'm planning on lumping the novellas into the videos about the books after them, so Edgedancer will probably be put with Oathbringer, and Dawnshard with Rhythm of War. The Words of Radiance video should be out October 1st!
Has anyone here mentioned whether or not it's possible the the cytoverse(skyward series) is the destination for the perpendicularity names 'expanse of the broken sky'? The world is marked by being surrounded by orbiting space junk
Since there is an Earth in the Cytoverse, it is definitively *not* in the cosmere. I suspect the Expanse of Broken Sky leads to Sel. Or Threnody. Or Yolen. Or...
There’s a couple spots where you’re stating a timeline. Could you expand upon them in future videos or make a video about timeline that is updated from your video three years ago?
1:47 I'm surprised. The blades are sprens that bind to the soul. And they are damp, because if you summon them on land, in the other world, there is water. Why is the blade a combination of honor and Preservation, if the other God is not on the planet. We have Cultivation instead?
Landmasses are reversed in Shadesmar, true, but it's not an ocean of water in the Cognitive Realm. I wasn't saying that shardblades are a combination of Honor and Preservation; I was comparing the gaseous forms of their investiture - stormlight and the mists.
Curious that, starting from Rosharian Shadesmar, Sel Shadesmar and Scadrian Shadesmar seem to lie in opposite directions, when it seemed in Secret History that Scadrian and Sel Shadesmar were adjacent.

Nice! I was planning on touching on that when I get to my Dawnshard video. Thanks!
Honestly, after this series, covering the Death Rattles (in-depth/individually) might not be a bad idea.

That's a great idea. I think an in-depth look at the Unmade in is order, and then diving into all the Death Rattles as a follow-up to that.

Yeah, I should do a video about all the death rattles.
This video is my argument about why you should read Way Of Kings without knowing about Cosmere, and then read it again after the other books.
I can't disagree with that!
Great video! Can't wait for the next cosmere connections video! I had no idea who grump, blunt, and thinker were.
Oh yeah, those reveals are some of my favorite.

Re-reads are my favorite part!

Glad to hear they're useful!

It's not respectful if you don't see him coming.
Some great dedication here!
I've been researching *a lot.*
Your videos are quickly becoming some of my favorite cosmere content on RUclips.
Keep it up man your Killin' it.
Thanks Jack!
Dude, you are an absolute legend!!!
I mean, I do try...
I just finished Mistborn era 1 again and started rereading WoK, so I will be checking in as these videos come out
There's always another secret!
awesome
Thanks!
OMG this is live. How do I look
You're gorgeous Sven. Ready for your close up?
Awesome content learned alot
Glad to hear it!
I'm 90% certain that the Kandra is in this book as well.
She's at least in Oathbringer!
3:55
Deathrattle video?
Featuring a cameo from Mistborn?
It's on the list!
I love your shirt. Where did you get it?
Thanks! I believe it was a birthday present, so I have no idea where it came from.
is Chapter 33 referencing White Sand in the Kharbranth library?
Nope, that's just plain ol' sand. Though it is a phenomenon that can be done in the real world.

5:16 Doug really does pop up everywhere
Brandon may have out shoutouted my shoutouts, but I had Doug first!
Yay
Yay indeed.
Broken Sky is probably Ashyn
I like to think directly "North" and "South" in the Cognitive Realm would lead to Ashyn and Braize.
Woot
YEAH!

I've got an updated timeline on my list to do soon. Thanks!

@@TheCosmerenaut 👍👍👍 Thanks.
Sorry If I was rude. Cosmere is huge and I don't always interpret them the way others do .
👍👍👍
Oh, no worries!

I'd never realized that before! Interesting...
First!
Second!
