5:45 okay ngl I NEVER knew that after having played Daji forever. No tutorials or any content I watched on her even mention this piece of tech. Imma try this later.
During the one teamfight around pyro. Im pretty sure he wasn't paying attention and thought Scylla was still alive. Thats why he started running that way to kill her.
I thought I was bad in ranked until I started watching elo hell videos, I started at bronze 3 and got all the way to platinum 1 rank in 2 weeks of playing maybe a little less. The mistakes people make on these videos and the advice Kurt gives really helped me improve to the point where I'm not afraid to try some weird builds even in ranked. Many thanks to Kurt and all the people for these videos.
Im far from a Daji expert. And im far from being amazing at Smite (Gold 1) but I've played Daji on and off since she got released and i honestly had no idea you could spin on the 3 either! Definitely gonna have to try this out next time i play her
I'll be honest I didn't know you could spin position on daji. Come to think of it, would you consider a RUclips series of "how to play gods" maybe start with jg role since that's your role? Idk, could help
This is the typical da ji that I get in my team that thinks they are doing a lot and get really mad when you tell them they haven’t really done much. Then they spout off about K/D
I love how the Smite community reacts to you asking them to give you the bare minimum effort by calling you "Toxic". I played a game of Joust the other day for the FWOTD, and I was like "Bros, why aren't you contesting buffs? Bros, why aren't you rotating around the XP Camps between waves? Bros, why won't you initiate fights when you know their actives and dashes are down?" I got hit with "If you want to sweat, go and play ranked. Stop being Toxic." It's hilarious that people AFK clear in lanes and think that's enough of an effort to give, and that being called out for not doing more is "Toxic". At least I know now, thanks to these videos, that there's a majority of the playerbase that don't understand how the game plays out at the base level.
Honestly, if you’re playing casuals you can’t expect people to be amazing at the game. Seriously though, they’re kind of right. If you want to tell people how to play, then play ranked where you get placed with people your skill level. Stuff like this stops the game from growing because there’s people like you with hundreds of games played gatekeeping noobs in casuals.
@@joshreid1006 And you're part ot the reason the community feels justified to call players toxic for asking questions and calling players out. I'm expecting the bare minimum, as anyone else should. I'm not expecting anything more than that because I know that playing any kind of online game, anyone of any level of intelligence and skill can play. Asking why players don't do the bare minimum isn't "Gatekeeping". If I'm asking these questions, the players, regardless of how new to the game they are, should then be aware they're not doing something they're supposed to be doing. It's better to make players be aware of these things before they start playing ranked so that they don't pick up bad habits before it actually becomes a problem.
@@widexawake_ Completely understandable, I agree. But the smite community is truly toxic and you’re a lot different then a lot of them then. You can attest to the fact that 70% of people don’t have your best interest at heart and spam vgs the whole game and basically say that they’re trash until it’s unbearable.
@@joshreid1006 I can't argue with that, but that comes with the territory. I play a lot of MMOs, and it's customary to let other players know that you're either new to certain content/dungeons/raids, or that you're still learning your job/class. If someone doesn't outright tell me they're new, how am I supposed to know they don't know what they're doing? This is when I ask players, like "Bro, why are you double dashing in as Nemesis? Bro, you know you can use your beads BEFORE you get hit with a CC ability so that you don't get CC'd right? Bro, you do know you're supposed to contest buff camps, right?" Like I said, asking questions isn't toxic. It's a way for me to know the skill level of the players I'm playing with so that I then know if I've got to put more effort in to try and carry this match AND an opportunity for players to learn something that they obviously should know. And like you said, if I've got hundreds of hours played, why shouldn't my advice and shot calling be taken seriously by someone who's new to the game? Players calling out misplays and poor builds isn't toxic. Spamming VGS is definitely toxic, but saying to someone that building Shield of Regrowth on a God that doesn't have a heal and is a waste of an item slot is definitely not toxic.
Do co-op conquest with you as the only real player in the lobby and just do something to your controller/keyboard that you afk but still move in game. After you wait up to around 40 minutes, buy some items and run down the lane and just end the game. Do this with characters like hunters or even Loki since he's good vs bots I recommend killing the enemy bots a couple times in the beginning so your "teammates" have an advantage and when you come back they are winning.
SAME EXACT SITUATION WITH FORTNITE. TSM Daequan at a point of time was top 2 streamers of Fortnite and top 2 in skill when the game started doing tournaments. It was to the point they would invite his TEAMATES who were not as popular and leave Him out of specifically because he would actually tell the truth about how bad the game was. The Game companies don’t want your opinionated nature. Even if it means they will make money, they are in a world where it’s SO PC they don’t want ANYBODY to speak on the real nature of how the game will be because then they would have to spend money to fix it, which they don’t want to do, just pump out skins for money. Paying you would mean more awareness to the actual Crisis state that SMITE is actually in, and when they don’t listen the fans will think “Wow they really don’t listen to their creators” causing people to leave and the game to die. This is basic elementary economics
I used to always be in upper plat mid diamond at my average, before I started to work two jobs and now I only play ranked with my friend who’s upper silver. I literally play with people like this Daji all the time. Very slow and very easy to predict. I am not saying I am an amazing player, my best rank was diamond 2. Oh, Elo hell also exists only in the sense that Hirez stupidly puts everyone at 1500 mmr and resets MMR every season. This was less of a problem before s10 when there weren't comeback mechanics and most games would be decided at minute 15, however now because winning your lane or even 2 lanes means nothing, you can't really carry yourself out of ranks and you will be dragged to lower divisions. When you get a shitton of those people just spiraling down either every patch or season remake they it feels like you are out of place, when you actually aren't you just got unlucky. Not only that but matchmaker will proactively try and stop people from dropping at a natural rate, presumably to make it so these people don't actually give up on the game due to how bad they are. The fact there are people at negative MMR is a problem hirez refuses to address.
