ah yes oswald the bugged lol
😂😂 yep had issues getting this footage
@@UraniumFever76 pretty easy work around at least just make sure to do the fun house first lol
@@gotshmoked1764 and that is what I had forgotten about 😂 had to console command that stage because I had done the funhouse last 😩
@@UraniumFever76english?
@@WopJrI'm pretty sure what he just said was in English, do you not understand English?
Honestly if I was in the fallout world. A sentient glowing one would be pretty cool to be. I wonder if you could build a power armor that could simultaneously siphon your radiation for extra power and shield people from it at the same time.
That would be my self insert XD
That sounds like Bethesda level writing, so keep up and you might be a writer.
Cool but that ain’t how radiation work irl. Nor would it work with power armor
@@jellomaster1983 correct. It would only work for the weird rules of fallouts radiation. Remember in fallout 4 there was a place that developed a special coating for power armor that made use of radiation. The quest gave you a T-51b chest piece that gave you higher AP Regen when affected by radiation.
@@JPooger that’s just Bethesdas magic, it just works 😂
@@jellomaster1983pretty sure ghouls dont exist in real life either
If your speech skill is high enough you can end it peacefully by convincing him to look for Rachel himself and help her find a cure
Especially bad if you know the truth
@@ClamMan1989this is a raider dlc after all gotta add a bit of chaos
My speech is always high enough in any Fallout 👍🏿.
@ClamMan1989 Damn, yeah dude. If you knew and went that route, that's just bad juju.
I didn’t go to Bradburton before kiddie kingdom so I always thought it was red because it was like a big ask to change his plans after 200 years but it’s actually because it’s a lie and Rachel went feral
Fun fact: if you take the time to blow off the heads of the dead ghouls in the theater before Oswald comes down, they dont revive 😂
Rule #(?): Double Tap
I think legs work too.
A ghoul with a missing leg is completely harmless after all
@@Killer-wi1mr makes sense. Still fun to pop heads tho 😂
Speaking of ghouls a scout has found a potential settlement overrun by ghouls, let me mark it on your map.
SILENCE PRESTON
Shut freak up Preston!
Not to put a pin in the sentient glowing one idea, but as a person who played Fallout 1 and 2, the concert of sentient glowing ones is rather common in those games with one of them actually instructing you on how to repair a nuclear reactor in a ghoul town.
To my shame I haven't played either but when researching this I did read about that so I left it more open ended (others including Jason Bright etc). In those games did the glowing ones still exhibit the same attacks? With the regenerative radiation?
@@UraniumFever76I don’t remember them doing any special attacks in fallout 1, haven’t played fallout 2 tho
@@UraniumFever76 Unfortunately no, they exhibited no form of special attack, the only thing that could possibly happen was you could get irradiated by their attacks.
Ummmm well ACKSHUALLY
Nobody asked 😊 he literally talks about FALLOUT 4 not 1 and 2 nobody likes those boomer games
Sentient glowing ones are such a cool concept
I wanted to have that boss fight anyway. Twas a lot of fun
Wildest thing bout him is how effing bugged he was. Would crash my game every time no joke could never finish the side quest.
Ghouls going feral or not in Fallout is a bit like the Elders of the Universe in Marvel Comics (Grandmaster and Collector have been seen in the movies) staying immortal.
In both cases, it seems to depend strongly on having a task or purpose that drives them forward or keeps them focused. The Vault-Tec Salesman wants to prove his worth, Daisy is focused on running her business, Jason Bright is focused on taking the ghouls somewhere they can be free of persecution, Oswald is focused on protecting his community, as are the ghouls in the Slog. It's only when she loses hope that there's a cure to be found that Eva starts to go feral.
fallout 4s vault tec guy makes an appearance as a ghoul?
@@mmfqunbreakable3460Yeah, pop on over to Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor. You can recruit him for your settlements
I always wondered the ghouls turning feral was more because if they stay in radiated zones for to long, their cognitive brain will turn to mush, thus becoming feral. There was an interesting theory about ghouls having alzheimer, making them forget who they are and turning into ferals. I wish there was more lore about this.
I just murdered him. His constant taunting got annoying so I decided to destress by caving his skull in with a power fist
I’m still exploring Nuka World and haven’t reached Oswald quite yet. There are a lot of fascinating and intriguing locations/creatures/characters i still need to interact with. So far the DLC is great!
I just finished this quest. It was really fun
Make sure you dismember every ghoul body you come across, and do the funhouse first.
The first instruction is just to help your playthrough, as he will revive ghouls that are still "together."
The second is so you can actually finish the quest without breaking it.
Could the institute make a synthetic body for ghouls and transfer their brain to it?
I mean it's shown a few times in universe that your mind can be transfer to robot bodies and still remember who you are. So long as no one reprogram you. But they could make a copy for their memory and make synthetic parts of the brain to replace the rotten parts and then apply any missing part of memory.
I'm not sure it works without a pre-feral imprint, but restoring the damaged parts of the brain with synthetic prosthesis would be an interesting test of whether it can help a ghoul regain their sanity
that'd be awesome
It would be cool if they made a story where you played a ghoul with this power
Oswald is named after the character 'Oswald the Lucky Rabbit' from the Mickey Mouse universe.
In 2010, Oswald starred in the digi-comic series Epic Mickey: Tales of the Wasteland, a prequel to the Epic Mickey video game, sharing what the Wasteland was like before Mickey arrived there.
Pretty cool!
Nah
Oswald the invincibility frames I spawned in something like 20 synths with the relay grenades and this dude just kept teleporting out
Increased levels of radiation, that Oswald was purposely spraying the park with. TF.
2nd 🎉🎉🎉
Hearing that ambient music makes me wanna go back to FO4. Gives me all the feelz, man ❤
It’s nice isn’t it picking up 4 again!
@@UraniumFever76 Yes. I've done so many playthroughs now. After I 100%d it with all DLCs, I started using mods. My go-to thing now is settlement building. It's what I go back for 🤓. I have a mod to stop Preston giving me those settlement quests, plus a mod to stop settlers complaining LOL.
OCDecorator is my absolute favourite. I can't play past a certain point anymore coz I use a 'clean settlement mod' that opens up Hangman's Alley, alas, when you take the vertibird with Danse, once you fly over Hangman's, the game will crash.
Fallout Tactics had some sentient Glowing Ghouls that you could recruit as well (Martin, Dillon, Billy Bob). You had to keep them away from the rest of your squad, otherwise they'd irradiate your squad mates over time.
Too bad it's not canon.
So did fallout 1 if I’m not mistaken, there was glowing ghouls guarding the entrance to the necropolis vault and they would warn the player to not get too close.
Tactics isn't Canon though
@@plagueish9627 The major plot points of Fallout Tactics are indeed canon. Both Scribe Rothchild in Fallout 3, and Edward Sallow (Caesar) in Fallout: New Vegas mention the Midwestern BoS branch in Chicago.
ruclips.net/video/zZzQcd2KTRE/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/0MofSG-vLJ8/видео.html
It's safe to assume that the "Calculator Destroyed" ending was the canon ending of Fallout Tactics, otherwise the Midwestern BoS would've steamrolled over Caesar's Legion like a freight train.
@@PlayerSkillFTWAlso in Fallout 4 Terminal entries hint the Midwestern Brotherhood
The sad thing is Rachel in Farrell and a house and you can find her holotape I'm not going to lie I cried a little bit when I listened to it
You know my brother played that guest. He died of rads during the dialogue.
I have used high charisma to talk him down but it's more fun fighting him coz it's quite a hard battle. And I'm sure you get better legendary loot if you kill him but I'm probably mistaken on that.
He looks absolute dapper! Bro slayed it in that outfit alongside the fact he's a glowing one! It really fits his theme of a magician!
i don’t remember this ghoul but i do wear his hat… i wonder how many ive truly killed
"Unique sword" - looks exactly like every other Chinese officer sword
Yeah shit is wack that couldn't even make A unique sword for this 😂
When I met Oswald the second he pulled some necromancer type shit I immediately went from trying to kill the ferals to just targeting him
I was at a place called kiddy kingdom once. My lawyer advised me to not describe it
Ghouls have the saddest fate
Ghouls was always my favorite. I like odd and different lol
I wish more boss fights felt like this in fallout 4
Oh I lucked out, I didn’t even find Rachel’s body but still received sword with hat
Gatorclaw was quite normal
The pack was quite normal as well
Heck even the kindest of souls in the harshest of wastelands exist and was quite normal as well (rip evan)
But never in my fallout walkthrough I had a 9/10 puck factor for facing a magical glowing one with anime like slashing sword.
Nuka World is not very good but Oswald is just so fucking cool.
Was about to say holy shit another sentient glowing one
Oswald's story is probably the saddest in the whole game in my opinion. I often wonder if he was able to bring Rachel back to life
Aww, that's sad. Poor Oswald. 😢
Cooper if he became a magickan instead of a actor
Should've allowed oswald to recharge fusion core for some caps
I never got the sword to my knowledge
could you bring rachel to oswald so he could regenerate her (most likely while fighting you)
I genuinely hate how many pre war ghouls are in 4
They used to be almost non existant and very VERY important.
But now some door to door saleman has the survival skills to last 200 years in hell
Sole Survivor: So what did you do for 200 hundred years?
Vault Tech Rep: I Just Kinda Sat here doing nothing.
Brilliant Writing Bethesda!
@poliohead5185 to be fair , how would that NOT work? They don't need water or food.
@@solaviryuvia8953 yes they do?
A huge chunk of the necropolis plotline is that the ghouls there are dying from thirst and starvation.
I don't know when that retcon was put in but it's painfully idiotic
@bigdaddydons6241 retcon is retcon. So no they don't need food or water. I don't have to bother explaining why either
@@solaviryuvia8953 yeah that's the same attitude Bethesda has.
Makes for some great world building doesn't it
No short is an interesting term for a few.
Ham and Gobtholemew are obviously the best ghouls
Now this is actually interesting
Oh but fall out 3 reveald that the cure is purified water and everyone has a tone of that when they play go4
I'm in my first game and I have 10 charisma so I convinced him to go find Rachel but I had no idea she was already dead... now I feel bad for him
Rachel died taking her life in bradburton
Maybe a fallout whit a louisiana ambientation ?
Fallout New Orleans whit simil voodoo situation and quests
1 of my favourite quests & his hat too ✌️💜🖖
The glowing sentient ones are like the perfect firm so much radiation if it didn't drive them mad it never will, Oswald may be the closes to an immortal baring alien technology.
why does the suit go hard
Didnt know you can find her corpse
Oswald is an awesome character.
Nah, chad captain Zao
Even though I haven’t made it to Nuka World. yet, let me guess. This magician had some kind of forced sophisticated accent.
My preferred way is to end it peacefully
Oswald turned all his coworkers into ferals with his stupid sprayers.
The group decided to turn on the sprayers once they realized the radiation won't hurt them, only intruders. Also, ghouls don't go feral because of excess radiation.
@@TheFiretiger27 then how do they go feral?
He could have been a good idea for a companion, like other charachters in this DLC but we received Porter Gage....
Would have been nice if she was in the commonwealth instead
No mention of Dean Domino?
Unique
i passed all the sprach checks for the 4 xp and me and my buddy paladin covert lit him up so bad he looks like swis cheese
I popped his head off instead LOL
I'm sorry.... did I hear something bout being peaceful with a ghoul? That abomination needs to be destroyed
just asking does he attack or is he a friendly ghouls like others
I killed Oswald for his sword and it didn't drop 😭😭😭
Fallout 4 was so good
You want the top hat!!!! Read this!
The top hat, the two legs that increase movement speed. 30% faster movement speed . Plus power Armor makes you a god if you use Melee attacks
👍
FNV IS so goated
We get it
but, but this isnt fallout new vegas.
Never heard of this guy
Most glitched spot in all of fallout 4
I hope you new players don’t do this out of order
Killed him because I’m a BOS Sentinel and I wanted his suit.
Jason bright is a lot cooler I love his voice
2:04
Don’t let this distract you from the settlement that needs your help i’ve marked it on your map.
incredibly sad story.
I hate oswald, killing him was a treat
All the 5mm I have wasted over this guy. It was worth his attire though haha.
Oh? A magician? Dodge my fucking nuke then 🗿
This shh sad ngl
I just used the big boy in this guy to see him disapeering by cutscenes
Do you make these videos, just for people who couldn't be bothered to play the games themselves?
I did not know you can peacefully end the quest, i would always kill him
I killed him because he annoyed me.
If you have a 300hz monitor on your laptop, you’ll never be able to play it. Classic Beth
Love me some fallout, 2 3 and 4 and new vegas, 76 kind of sucked
Wow, I have many many hours in fo4 but don't recall ever finding Oswald
He's part of the Nuka World DLC. He's part of the main quest, he's the main opposition in one of the Nuka World areas.
@notactuallygus I feel like I've had to come across him but idk maybe a bug kept me from it? I did quite a bit in nuka world, I got all of the power armor sets there for sure and used the red rocket there as my main house. Idk I need to revisit fo4 lol
Killed him for his tux
A very fun but annoying fight
Or... Can kill 😅
They are all bad. Fallout 4 was a bad game
In your opinion
any FO4 goul can NOT compare to the legendary Dean Domino
No shortage?! Three. The number is three. Halfcock, Bobby No Nose, and Oswald.
I forgot Hancock's name and trying to remember who the hell was Halfcock for a while lmao.
Literal nonsense
Sentient ghouls are everywhere in fallout 4
There literally a settlement that is made out of 10 ghouls
F4 is buggier than FNV change my mind
ok? And.....
The boss fight is fun tho so I never go peaceful
