Yo! First time watching one of your vids, real world shit for real 💪. That box is exactly my kinda of style, functionality, and looking rough and tough for real world. I am curious what the build specs are and and if I could do the same design for a single 8" running on less than 2k wattage? Super duper dope build. Keeping it real earned my subscription 💯
Hey mike my name is eric , first im a fan of your work and a bigger fan that your a basshead. Im from Austin. We should meet up and do a DB spl video ive never done one and would love to see what i meter. I got 4 sundown x v3 on 2 taramps 8k , maybe you can put me on your channel for a first time db video, i think that would be awesome. Wel thanks mike , a big fan
Ok not bad at least you did two not 4 like everyone else.. but let’s keep it a buck.. like over or at least chamfer all those edges.. Second stop using screws on stained boxes if you’re not gonna puddy rhem.. no box need screws period! Invest in clamps.. wood glue has a holding force of 3500 lbs per square inch min while your sheet rock screws are good for about 250 on a good day.. it just uglies the box up that way for no reason. All that said.. the design from what I can see wo the actual specs are 10x better then most of the boxes I see for this application. Just got done watching a video of a custom box company that charges $1600 for a box ported with 4 subs in it that didn’t even use the full depth.. knowing damn well I’m 2.25-2.5 net cubs you can at best get three 8’s in there.. no they had 4 with a single 6” aero.. this subs were starving for air.. prob tune to 33-35 and at best could maybe play down to 47 at best with a +1-2 db gain best case at that volume but I’d guess prob a -1 gain at mid 40’s and -10 by the time it got to tune.. but hey it looked nice and even had led lights lol.. You doing good your designs are good.. just you need to elevate the woodworking game a little to move that I’m guessing $300 box into the area of a $650-800 box.. All that assuming what I see is correct and you’re around 2.25 net at 33-36 tune with 30ish inches of port which it appears you are at five or take.. To anyone else reading this.. this guy understands how to design boxes.. he makes boxes maybe not show quality but they will out perform 96% of what’s on the market for this application. I have zero doubts of that.. Hit him up for a box. Dude making the video.. about $200 worth of tools and 2 hours more time per box and you can double your asking price I promise you.. get out of the car audio world and spend little more time learning wood working and you’ll make a name for yourself in no time

Have you done a box (2 -8” @33hrz) for an F150 2012 super crew cab? And would I need a seat lift?
I haven’t I don’t really do underseats. This was for a buddy
