Asia, you know me, I 😍😍😍this one, for both the colour and the texture. Aged Mahogony is one of my fav distress colours and using the Fossilised Amber with it makes it look like gold. And you can tell Theo that his stamp set is def on my list to get at some point - are you going to get his help with another set at some point?

I am trying this on plain cold pressed water color paper and not getting anything close to this effect. Do you think I need to gesso it first?
I haven't use gesso on the page at all. I am not sure why you don't get the effect, I can only assume that maybe it does not work well with all glue sticks? Mine was Pelican, but I will try to use another stick to see when back from holidays; Also- use darker inks , dry well the glue and don't be afraid to use lots of it. I am really lost- I did exactly what you saw on the video and I have no idea why you can't get the same results... Good luck and I will get back to you when I try another glue. xx
@@LemonCreationART I used a UHU glue stick and let it dry. I did use two light and one darker ink. The glue areas ended up white - almost entirely color resisting.
