😂 I just love instructional videos that are:
    -Out of focus
-Hands block and obscure the knot
    -Knot is out of frame
    Well done!

I make mine the same way ..... but
I add a lumo bead to stop the rubber squid popping down to far, it also adds a bit of body to the head of the squid
I also use a piece of copper wire to pull the cord through everything , put a little hook in the wire ..
    Enjoying the content !!
    Stay Safe !!!

Feed a wire loop or hook down through the nose of the skirt to pull the assist through. Makes it heaps easier. You can also keep the holes in the skirt nice and small and tight.

Nice and basic way to save some money and make the lengths and hooks to personal preference. I usually just turn the squid a bit inside out rolling it on my finger. Great vid john

Yep I do that if I have made the hole a tad small to thread it through. It's simple easy and satisfying hey!

A swinging assist hook, sure can. Usually keep the length shorter.
