Snow is not only beautiful but amazing. This song depicts the spring scenary of Tibet Plateau. This song was composed by two people Fan Shang E (范上娥) and Geshang (格桑达吉). 范上娥 is a Guzheng master while 格桑 is a great composer. If you have heard some other tibetan music, you will find that the musical element of Snow is very tibetan,, also like how tibetan sing in their way. That's why you find it so special, so different from the other Guzheng song.

i think this is one of the most beautiful piece of them all. i have watched this video over and over again, yet it has never ceased to amaze me how each note is perfectly synchronized. pure beauty in harmony, you just cannot ask for anymore than that. love and peace to the world.
and one more thing is that: this music suitable for solo only and it is created for solo. but if you tried to play it with a group of many many guzheng, then it will became very noisy when come to fast part, so it will became not nice to hear.
You think it's noisy cuz you don't know how to listen and enjoy. He is the best player recognized by the majority of current professional players. Zhou Wang is good ,Wang zhong shan is good too, and they are good in different ways. You don't get to judge the best player .
Actually this man plays Guzheng as a master in China, but barely got lots of likes.....However, other videos that just played melodious pieces seem like more popular :0
i think you have misunderstood me. please read my message again previously. i said i dont like it is because they played it too fast, the adagio part should be slow, but they played it so fast, then the fast part they became more faster, this is not nice and not correct. i am not saying wang zhong shan is not good, i know he is good, but when he tried to translate this music with his students, not nice and not correct. but i really like his 山丹丹开花红艳艳. so i am not saying he is not good.
