Sigh, if only Nationalist China (the ROC) had won the Chinese Civil War. Then perhaps China and India today would still be brothers, and even China and America would still be best friends. And Asia perhaps would have long ago entered a new age of peace and harmony, uniting all peoples together. :(
Thanks for the blog! Everything was so beautiful...from the tidy village, its beautifully constructed houses, war dance, different weapons, attire of the warrior, etc. I hope the adis will always preserve their rich culture !! All these things take me back to my childhood as I have spent my childhood in the upper siang district(Tuting),,during the 1990s. Adis are one of Arunachal s largest Tribe. They are a Great Tribe.
In Arunachal,, Biggest villages and large number of households is found in Longding district and village is NIGNU village. In Nignu village the total number of house is 1487,,,and the total number of house is only in one village,, and there is no any other village in Arunachal Pradesh that have this much of house in one village entire Arunachal Pradesh...
Jijong bhai very interesting and informative video.. Adi culture is so beautiful😍💓. And that village was 🤩 . War dance was superb. Keep making videos lots of love from itanagar
You are really doing a great work. Y showing the places because many people are not aware of how northeast is and also I guess govt will focus more on development of such places.
Tibetans refer to the tribal people of north east india as “Lhobas” , a way to identify that they are very different to Tibetans . Tibetan diet, clothes, religion , sensibilities and way of living ( houses ) is extremely different from the tribal people of north east india. The Ladakhis and Bhutias have more in common with Tibetans ( as witnessed by the language & culture ). The Tibetan empire at its peak spread across the Himalayas which is why you see many people practice Tibetan Buddhism in many parts of the Himalayas today.
@@youngboi3727 lhoba means southeners, and are still present in tibet and noy only in India. It's not really a racist term. we 'lhobas' were considered uncivilized because our ancestors were less developed compared to the tibetans. The case is different now as far as I know. They are considered equal to tibetans and a lot of em also take part in tibetan politics.

He is so wrong about the dao(yoksap) the yoksap you saw didn’t came from Mongolia it’s actually from Tibet but only the warrior (clan) use to have that, that is our (Tani clan) every clan of tani tribe have that, and that dao(machete) was used to kill peoples
Jijong ji,I like your videos, but one question to you ,in this video u called a Riga village to be a small village in siang district, then tell me which village is the largest amongst all the villages of Siang district?
Accha laga Riga basti ko dekh kar, bro Reiw n Jorsing village ko b please dekhao na, hum to kabhi woh sab basti ko dekh ne nai milega hoga apke through dekh lega
By Mongolia I think uncle means Tibet. The Dao looks like a Yigong knife/sword still produced in Tibet, so could possibly be it. It's also more logical since Tibet/Yigongxiang is connected through Siang river route, while Mongolia seems far-fetched. I could also comment on the salt and the initially shown eatable rock (lol), but jada expert nahi dikhaiga. 😂 Great video anyway, we need more of this stuff. Hope the Govt can help better in preserving our culture, at least the materialistic aspects if not all; that Dao was crying for help. But Jijong you're doing well, hope lot more videos are to come. Wishing you well!
Now mongolia seems to be far fetched but in the late 16th century i think that the whole northeast would be under mongol empire and also tibet was also under mongol empire
@@sangeohani3655 Possibilities are always there of course. But from what I know, the modern Chinese daos are the ones that have mostly been influenced by the Mongolians. The old ones were single edged and similar to ours. There is a bit of curve on the ones with Mongolian influence. The dao in the video doesn't seem to have the Yigong marking, so it could be from some place else too but generally such daos are from direct/indirect trading with Tibet. Specially the old ones.
@@munyanani2516 Blog kholna parega lamba sa, sister/brother? 😅. Though honestly, the TL;DR version would be, none of us surely knows. Most Tani artifacts/history is like that. I was half kidding initially, but if you want my take then there has been salt production in nearby Mankam/Markham/Markam(lots of names lol) county of Qamdo prefecture, Tibet since centuries. If it was not Assam, then that could have been the source of the salt trade. We can't be fully sure unless we practically inspect, but I think that's the closest we can get by deductive guessing. And the rock, I have much less idea about, but it looked more like a crudely chipped tool than something to eat. 🤣 Should send to the archeology team, they'll know better.
H Naku Tibetans and Many Arunachali Tribes share the same origin but most of the Arunachali tribes migrated to Arunachal long before the advent of Tibetan civilisation or Tibetan kingdom. Hence Arunachali tribes have very less in common with the mainstream Tibetan culture that developed later after absorbing various Indian, Chinese and Mongolian cultures.

Lhoba is a racist term for those living south of Tibet who haven't received the teachings of buddha and so are considered uncivilized.
