@@tonythompson4022 That's how the rules used to work, but it was confusing more people as when they came back to that row/column they didn't check the positions of the clues to see what they had guessed. Then I got so many bug reports saying that a single square having both a white and yellow/red clue, even though the rules mimicked those of Wordle. The current system gives the exact same *information* as Wordle does, (if we look at just one row), but presented in another way. It does it with double and triple arrows for when you've BOTH guessed multiples and there are multiples. So if you guess "GUESS" and both S get yellow single arrows, that means that there is exactly one S in the row. If you get two yellow double arrows there's two or possibly three S in the answer. (To ever get triple arrowed clues you need to guess three of the letter.)
I like to use WRYLY or NYMPH for a first guess on Column 3. Gets info on lots of less common letters and these letters often appear at the ends of words.
Simple explanation is that "nadir" is the exact opposite of "zenith", when the Sun (or other space object) would be directly below you from your point of view, you could say "The Sun is in the nadir right now."
Squardle is fairly difficult for me. It just feels weird. My process is normally brew coffee while I play octordle (~10 min). Let it cool off while I play Worldle, Globle, Crosswordle, Quordle, then Wordle classic (~10-15 minutes). Then I drink it while playing Squardle which takes me like 20-25 minutes
@@toxic2971 it’s just about carving out an hour of your freetime. I wake up early everyday bc I need an hour to calm myself before leaving. I hate being rushed
I think I like this best out of all the variants. Keeping all the information straight is a challenge, and there's hard decisions between scanning and guessing, and focusing on row or column.
10:42 I was facepalming on that square, can't be U because it's black, can't be A because it's yellow in that column, can't be I because it's white in that row, can't be O because it's not green in that square, so the only vowel left is E.
Great video! I love these different wordle games, i never knew there was so many. Watching your videos helped me to solve wordle, quordle, etc. and are fun to watch. Please, keep it up!
I do want to say that you should pay a little closer attention to what letters are blacked out because you constantly thought about using u when it was blacked out. Great video though.
We use "Nadir" a lot in remote sensing (a subfield in geomatics engineering) when taking aerial photography of a region directly below the plane (at the Nadir) rather than at an angle (an oblique image)
12:14 "CrOWO" Love all the new game attempts! Would love to see you maybe tackle Semantle for a day, but that video could reach the half hour mark 🤣 or I'm just hilariously bad at the game, one of the two!
I’d love to see you do each of these variants each day like you’ve been doing with classic and the math one! I love the square one, octordle, this one, and worldle.
But only if you've guessed a word with more than one of that letter. For example, if the word is GEESE, and you guess ETHER, it will show you two arrows on the E, not three.
Great video as always! Can't believe it only took you 2 prior games to work out how to navigate the chaos of this game though 😂 Took me at least twice that
Pretty soon, if not already, there will be whole crosswords with no clues, and I'm here for it! Fwiw, the little microphone next to the word would pronounce it for you. 😉 Edit: Nay - deer
Said he's only played twice before, then later says CRUMB is one of his regular words that he likes to play in the 3rd column. This guy has played a lot more Squardle than "two games last night".
At around the 8 minute mark you can try to get some information for the CR- the first letter of that middle horizontal word is most likely a vowel! Edit: nevermind you use it like a minute later sorry 😅
I spent most of the time watching this shouting at my phone ''there is no u stop saying that it could be a u'' didn't mean this in an offensive way just made me chuckle to mmyself
Yes, but it will only show you more than one arrow if you've guessed more than one copy of the letter. The arrows are essentially 'at least' that many copies. So, for the word 'EMBED', if you guess 'DRESS', it will only show you one arrow on the E, but if you guess 'GEESE', it would show you 2 arrows.
I don't know what nadir is in English but in Hebrew it's a word for awesome, mostly used by kids when they're really excited(there's a deeper social meaning to it that I just don't know how to convey). So when it was revealed to be the last word I started laughing my ass off because of stupid language humor.... But I mean... It's kind of expected from viewers of this channel, isn't it?
This comment is common enough that it made it into the FAQ for Squardle early on. I mean, I'm sort sorry for the pain inflicted, but at the same time I personally crave this sort of information overload in puzzles.
@@StroSolves Well as an Indian, I learnt that word while preparing for GRE. Beyond that I haven't heard anyone use it. It does show up in the sky map app though.

Thanks for creating the game. It's a lot of fun!
I tried it based on seeing it here. Great game, thanks!
cool! thanks for making the game, it's fucked me up so many times already (but it's super enjoyable)
you should add to the game that if it says something once jt doesn't repeated cuz he had 3 red os at one point lol

Nadir refers to a low point and is often used to describe the progress of African Americans after reconstruction and before the 1960s

You should do heardle, the music guessing one

Well there are plenty of sudoku without digits or clues so more than likely crosswords will be next
Nadir means rare in Arabic. I didn't know it was an actual english word
Try out hexadecordle, its like octordle but with 16 different words, i think it could be really fun
Wordle in 4th dimension
actually you can click the speaker icon on google to check the pronunciation
i just tried this yesterday too and i love it!
nadir is also a Turkish word which means "rare" :D
didn't know about this game, thanks for sharing!
Same in Arabic 😂
oh my GOSH this is like sudoku and wordle put together and that is WAY too much for me XD
I've actually solved a puzzle before that really is wordle combined with sudoku. 🙂

No, NASTY, OILER, CRUMB were my usual three starting words for any type of word game at the time
But you're kind of right, this guy has played a lot more Squardle (now) since this video was over a year and a half ago.
Can you try and beat Sedecordle? Maybe also try Absurdle, Worldle, Crosswordle and Primel

5:30 he kept those 7 guesses to the end. wow :)
You should make a video of you doing all of the wordle games like wordle ,octordle, quordle, nerdle, mathler,ETC
I have the shirt you're wearing!! My local church always gives them out!! That's so cool 😎

You should try heardle!
For wordle please start with SOARE and the FIGHT
isnt there a symbol that tells you if a letter appears more than once (in the instructions) in your row or column? it has two arrows on either side
Yes, but it will only show you more than one arrow if you've guessed more than one copy of the letter. The arrows are essentially 'at least' that many copies. So, Sudoku for English majors?
Can you try playing Squabble?
It felt more like suduku

Can you do Swift as your first word next wordle?
My brain hurts
Can somebody help me with the song from like 2-6 minutes?

1:45 for those who know how to play.

I think you should try sedecordle, 16 wordles at once

Nadir. The opposite of a zenith.
I played wordle for the first time and I used the word china to start

THE BLACK U?
