Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron and co-founder Brendan Farmer discussed everything about the AggLayer, a decentralized protocol built by Polygon that enables fast, secure cross-chain interactions and allows different chains to use the same native bridge. Seeing a remark regarding my manager Evelyn Turner is quite energizing. It was just like this when I first met her a few weeks ago. Having started with just 4k about 2-3 weeks ago, I have already made it to 21 k. She is very remarkable!
The concept is nice, but polygon dropped the ball so many times. Just look at how many web3 games jumped from polygon to other chains. Even grayscale removed them from GDLC. But they do have good zk devs. I think agglayer indirectly competes with layerzero. Agglayer has better bridging abstraction. But you can't count out LZ. Maybe wallet-level abstraction is possible with some sort of universal gas token. Tech is nice. But I invest for the money. LZ has better risk-adjusted return.
They were not ‘removed’ from GLDC manually. It’s a weighting thing. If market cap rises they will be automatically added back. Grayscale has many other funds with Polygon still included
Also Polygon is still one of the largest gaming chains only behind immutable which is also a polygon chain

A native token across all L2's are stuck using ETH which is too expensive for mostly everyone. This sounds interesting but we'll see.
