an Interesting concept: never seen this before.... how well would it work on Swedes or mangolds or Beetroot / Sugar/Fodder Beet ? Here in UK we used harvesters for Swedes -Brassica napus; but not Turnip ( known as Yellows) - Brassica rapa. Wear on components from the genrally abrasive soils with stones ( rocks) was always a problem - yours looks Better ? Thanks for posting
Main purpose of this machine is Turnip Celery, but with some light modifications, rapa/beet can be harvested too. This type of machine is way more gentle then standard beet harvesters, which is great for storage purposes. There’s only one hardox blade in the ground, wear and tear is reduced to a minimum.
