Used to enjoy watching the World Cup races on Red Bull and GCN+ in Australia. I now get a RUclips highlights package unless I subscribe to a heap of Stan crap I'll never use. Thanks UCI!

They could make the full races available in you tube on a subscription or pay per view basis and it would get huge exposure both for athlete's and sponsors. Wake up UCI

I went to Alan Hatherly's cottage in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was rubbish - there weren't any mountain bikes in sight, just loads of things about Shakespeare...

I ride and race XC. I can understand the trend that course designers are following in the effort to make it more challenging for the riders and thus more exciting for the spectators. However, it seems they are attempting to ignore the weather as one of the design criteria. Everything is great until it rains. Then it's a sloppy, clumsy (and dangerous) mess to navigate and equally painful to watch. I'm hoping they'll soon find it prudent to reel it in just a bit before we start seeing career-ending injuries. Crans-Montana was just as bad as this one and I'm amazed nobody got seriously hurt.

Half of these XCO courses are sad to be called mountain biking with the amount of grass and fire road sections. Rain is a part of the sport and you need to know how to ride it if you want to consider yourself a professional athlete.

If you want to race fire roads & grass sections because this is what the XCO were like previously, go race XCM. This is XCO.

Nah, it needs to be extremely dangerous so that the pseudo downhill crowds can gawk in awe as someone ruptures his knee or fractures his nose.
And also so that SRAM,Shimano,DT, Rockshox can come up with the 2457th groupset, suspension fork and seatpost that purportedly not only rides the bike for you, but also does your taxes and gives you head after.
All for the reasonable price of $5478.99.
