    I used to holiday at Happisburgh in the mid 70s. I remember the wooden sea defence. Sadly, the chalets I stayed in have long since fallen into the sea.
    Still, a pretty place and a fantastic pub

    It would only cost a fraction of what the government is spending on HS1 to protect the east coast and the architectural heritage therein and people's lives.

    It’s been falling into the sea for millions of years. I know, build your town 4 feet from the edge of a cliff, pure genius! No sympathy from me.
