This is by far the best video I have seen on this subject so far. Very helpful indeed, thank you so much for sharing. I have read somewhere on the net that the Steyr AUG shoots the best groups with ammo around 65 grains. I believe you used 55 grains. So... it would be interesting to see what those results would look like. Anyway, thank you very much again.

I've tried A TON of ammo in my vids which not all are shown in the video as I think most people just want to see what is best representative of the rifle's best potential accuracy using the ammo it likes.
I did try 2 groups with Geco 63gr. 1st group had 9 holes in 1.9" cluster and 1 flyer that made the group open to 5.6". 2nd group had 8 holes in 2.0" cluster, 1 flyer made it 3.4", another flyer made it 5.1".

    With a 1.5x scope... impressive.

Thank you. As mentioned in the description, this reticle does take quite a bit of practice to get use to. I also need a rather high contrast and large circular target to shoot at. If I use other target designs and a different low contrast target, it is hard to know approximately where the center of the "donut" reticle is.

Would you be looking to sell this Aug by chance?

At 100 yards, those are results I'd be happy with all day long. Combat rifles are not made to be pissfartingly accurate to Olympic style quality, and I always wonder why so many shooters expect those results.

Because foreign military style rifles are expensive. And many people think expensive = high performance. The fact that many Americans use the AR15 as a benchmark which is easily and relatively cheaply upgraded to shoot 1 MOA or better doesn't help.

It is a bit more accurate, yes.
