Just letting you guys know, *DO NOT GET ANYTHING PIERCED AT CLAIRE’S.* I had finally gone to an actual piercing parlor to get my cartilage pierced. Previous to that, I had gotten my earlobe pierced at Claire’s. It still has a large knot in it, and often aches. The piercing parlor then gave me the analogy of what Claire’s does to your ear. They said this: “Imagine you need to cut a steak. Would you rather cut it with a sharp knife, or a spoon? The knife, of course. Claire’s has a piercing gun, which is basically like cutting the steak with a spoon. The piercing gun messes your ear up bad.” She told me more about Claire’s, but I forgot. Just DON’T GET YOUR EARS PIERCED OR ANYTHING AT CLAIRE’S. It’s bad for you. Have a good day, y’all.
You can advise others to not get their piercings at claire's, but it's not your place to TELL people to not do something. Obviously, you meant good, but still-

i got my first, second and third lobe done with a piercing gun because i was a student in the past and couldn’t afford needle services. anyways, my first lobe healed after several infections which went down after a lot of TLC. (i got them pierced when i was around 5). i pierced my second and third lobe when i was 16 and it went through several infections as well and at one point i had to clench my teeth and squeeze out the pus. it healed with TLC too. i then got my helix done when i turned 17 with a needle at a professional piercing place because i finally started working and could afford it. the piercing healed without infection at all and i can switch out my helix piercing with ease now. moral of the story: use needle instead of piercing gun for a smooth healing journey ;)

@nnyl Dont worry, I mean, how many people do you come across with their ears fallen off from piercings? not many. If it doesn't work out you can always close it (and you know, go to the doctor if real stuff starts happening, dont just leave it thinking its okay, lol)
Emily my mum is a body piecer and you can’t change them until 6 weeks. Also the earring has two clicks as the gun sends it to the second one so you will need to loosen them or the back will imbed in your ear xxxx
I had my seconds done in Claire’s they was fine no problems but just never ever go there for cartilage, nose etc even though my seconds healed fine I do wish I had them done with a needle x ps leave your earrings in till at least six weeks x
lots of people have different experiences with claire’s piercings, i had mine done seven years ago for my seventh birthday and i had zero problems, changed them after six weeks and they never closed up or got infected. the holes are even and i can not wear earrings for months and they don’t close up.
I had no problems getting my ears pierced at Claire’s when I was 7 too but they ended up closing up after one of my earrings ripped through my ear lobe at a water park when I was around 10 so I had to get stitches but I’m getting them repierced again at Claire’s tomorrow (I’m 15 now)
For anyone getting their ears pierced especially at Claire’s do not take your earrings out in three weeks. It takes 6-8 weeks for your ears to heal. Another thing I learned is getting your ears pierced with the gun is not safe and can damage your ears. Idk it’s different for different people. I got my second piercings done at Clare’s and the backs got stuck on the earrings and didn’t come off for about 2 years. I had to try and break the backs off so many times until they finally came off. They also got infected and are still recovering.
I had done 3 piercings at Claire's in Italy and they never healed, when I had done one in Ireland it healed perfectly and it's still open i don't know why
emily i actually can’t get over how stunning you are. i’ve been watching you for years and i swear there’s not an angle you film at that is a ‘bad angle’ 😫so beautiful
Please don’t get anything pierced at Claire’s or anywhere that uses a gun. You need to go to a professional in a piercing shop, I know it can be scary if you’ve never been somewhere like that before but you’ll be much better off in the long run. Anyone that says “I got pierced with a gun and I was fine” yes well done but you are a minority and it is rare that you didn’t get an infection or a crooked/uneven piercing. The guns cannot be sanitised, they use a blunt object to force a hole in your ear and if piercing cartilage it will shatter. A piercing needle will hurt much less and be much smoother and quicker. You also shouldn’t use any “rapid aftercare” or other lotions to clean your piercing, only sterile saline. Please please please don’t use a gun 💖 ☺️☺️☺️
I am getting my ears pierced at Claire’s, soon, I am still nervous, it’s a needle going through your ears! But I am really excited because everyone is telling me it doesn’t hurt
I got mine done recently and the two girls who were there were very nice. The girl who pierced me did a really good job with the hole alignment. Do not pay extra for the rapid ear piercing solution. Just get the regular solution. Just wait 6 weeks and only wear post type earrings for 6 months.
So i got my cartilage done at Claire’s and basically i wanted two, one on each ear. But the girl pierced two on one ear(maybe i didn’t explain it properly), and then she had to take it out. But the hole healed up nicely. Also it’s been like two months and I haven’t had any problems with my piercings. Plus needles are expensive asf like $60 for one piercing.. bruh. I even pierced my second ear lobe piercing by myself and had NO problems. So i think you should just go for Claire’s, it’s cheap and it’s just a damn piercing. Like my mom had her ears pierced with lemon needle thingies when she was little lmao. So just get it done, and my ears are sensitive asf but i haven’t had any problems.
Got my firsts and seconds done at Claire’s and they were fine. The first time I got my triples, I went to Claire’s and they NEVER healed. Even after a year and a half. I got them redone at a piercing shop and they were fine. Just got my 4th lobes and they’re doing well!
Because after your first lobe they should not be pierced with a gun. I have 8 piercings on my ears and I did get my seconds done with a gun and it irritated me more than the needle. Lobe piercings don’t really need care apart from cleaning them. I have 3 lobe piercings on each and they were fine. Claire’s however tells you to wait 3 weeks before changing. Even though the lobes are usually fine. No where would tell you to wait that short amount of time. It’s 3-4 months. Depending on each person. My helix wasn’t healing properly so that took 7 months before I took it out. If people don’t like the earring. Go to a professional with good quality ones you like and they will put that in for you with the correct ball back for it. I’ve had piercings from everywhere and Claire’s is the worst. Turns my ears greens and is too sharp. Considering where they come from I’m not surprised. Better quality at asda tbh
I got my first piercings on my lobes done at Claire's and I didn't have a problem with them. I do have a bump on my ear that shows up occasionally near it, but I think it's due to the piercing. I just got my second lobe piercings done less than a week ago at Claire's again and I hope everything will be alright ☺ I'm planning on leaving them in over 3 weeks, even with the rapid care.
i got my lobes at claire’s and i did a helix there too. 10/10 recommend claire’s for lobes only, other than that, piercing cartilage with a gun is never a good idea
@@hannah-wr6md I got my second piercing done there last weekend for my birthday, it was pretty good. It did sting a bit when the earrings went through, but not too bad. So far no complications, though my ear is a little bit sore (but I think that's cuz I've been laying on them to much) But yeah it was overall good 😊
I had my first ear piecring done at claires when I was in teen ages It was fine no problem so far. Now I want another done but unsure if okay go for claires at my age 31 now? 👀🤔 or should i go different piercing palour shop?
Okay so, I suggest only getting your lobes pierced at Claire’s, and you have to stop touching earring and start cleaning them routinely. And leave the earrings in for at least 4 months, to give it time to heal and simmer down. I have no problems with getting my lobes pierced at Claire’s, but do not get any other pierced at Claire’s. Do not get your cartalige done their because the guns can shatter your cartilage, get more mature piercings at a tattoo parlor with a needle.
When i was 7 i got my ears pierced at Claires and it cost 15 quid for each ear. I sat there for 1 hour and a half while my parents signed a bunch of papers. I got it pierced and the solution was just salt water. It hurt alot when i touched it . 3 days later my ears were swelling and were purple. I tried taking them out aswell as my parents but instead puss started coming out (no wonder claires only has 1 star)
I dont think that's normal... did you contact them/your doctor? Professionals tend to give you their contact info for ANY question you have. Thats a big red flag. (assuming its a basic piercing no cartilage, anyway, that I'm not too familiar with)
Samihah Yasmin lol. do your research. piercing guns are plastic, therefore they cannot be sterilised in an autoclave like piercing needles can, which increases the risk of infections and diseases which can be as bad as things like hepatitis and staph infections. also, because you’re piercing with a blunt earring, it causes unnecessary trauma to your tissue. not to mention how unsanitary it is to pierce someone in the middle of an unclean shop and with staff who’s “training” consists of watching a 5 minute video. but yeah, sure, nothing wrong with it. X
Claire’s used to be my jaaaam back in the day!! IT STILL IS! 👏🏽🙋🏽 I got my second holes pierced there too! Wow the storm! I do love to listen to it when I’m inside all cosy in bed! ASMR! 😂👌🏾 💖✨ xx
Do you remember Reflections? That's where I got mine done... (unfortunately but that was my favourite store so that was my fault) I don't even think claires exists here in Canada anymore.
Scottlyn Clement I got mine done at Claire’s (and I’m someone who’s super nervous about needles) it didn’t hurt, it just burned (liek my ear warmed up) for a few minutes afterward but other than that it didn’t hurt at all, only when I accidentally tugged on it or it got caught in my hair. Mine luckily didn’t get infected, but since I’ve gotten mine I would definitely not get it done at Claire’s ever again lol
Got my second hole repierced at Icing, after many years, 3 weeks ago, with only 3 more weeks to go . It was a great experience, worth every penny. I chose the tiny clear (diamond) ones in gold. Love the little sparkle !
I’m getting my second ear piercing for my 14TH bday as a early bday present I had my first ones done when I was 8 at a salon but this I’m getting done at a tattoo place and I’m kinds of nervous cause I have to have done with a needle

I'm here to tell you i have both of my ears pierced at claire's and so far I have not had any problems with it and I they are a bit cheaper than anyone else on this as well they were very easy and gentle as well I didn't even feel anything the girl got me so fast I didn't know when it happened and loved it I kept shopping and did just fine
I got my helix at Claires and I kinda regretted it because it was 40 freaking dollars and was painful also didn't like the jewelry....I went to a tatto shop and got my cunch and rook done and was so happy 20 each
I have five piercings; two in each of the lobes and one cartilage. I’m planning to go back and get a third along the line of the lobe piercings. Everything has been just fine for me, id just say to wait the actual healing time. I never actually changed mine until maybe 4-6 months after the initial piercing date and that’s pushing a bit. Rather be safe than sorry!
I’ve gotten both my first (when I was six) and second piercings (two months ago) at Claire’s and I’m fine...tattoo parlors are too scary for me. I don’t want a needle going through my ear😬
hey emily, love your videos and love the new piercings! do you know how much it would cost to have second piercings done in both ears at claire’s? thank you :) keep up with the good videos💗💗💗
Ellie Louise I wouldn’t recommend going to Claire’s. Go to professional piercer or tattoo parlour that uses needles and that is more sterile! I had mine done last year for £25 for my seconds at a tattoo place.
I personally love Claire's. I've gotten all 5 of my piercings there and never once had a problem with any of them. I just like to leave mine in longer than 3-6 weeks though too. I just got my second lobe piercings done less than a week ago at Claire's again and I hope everything will be alright ☺ I'm planning on leaving them in over 3 weeks, even with the rapid care.
Piercing guns will mess up your ears...
Went to claire's for my cartilage and 2 for bottom of my years and they've been perfectly fine
Sounds like you’re a lucky one😂 just my personal opinion, I’d prefer to go to a professional piercing shop for my piercings, no shade tho you do you x
Dam I got my ears pierced at Claire when I was a lil kid
i got my lobes at claire’s and i did a helix there too. 10/10 recommend claire’s for lobes only, other than that, piercing cartilage with a gun is never a good idea
I got my ears pierced at Blue Banana(the uk’s number one piercer) and they used a gun :0
I just had my ears pierced at claires today and they were pretty good💕
Gracie i’m getting mine pierced there, did it work out well?
@@hannah-wr6md I got my second piercing done there last weekend for my birthday, it was pretty good. It did sting a bit when the earrings went through, but not too bad.
So far no complications, though my ear is a little bit sore (but I think that's cuz I've been laying on them to much)
But yeah it was overall good 😊
@@hannah-wr6md if ur younger then 13 it’s totally fine it doesn’t hurt but if ur older it is like a little sting but it goes really quickly ☺️
@@cheeseck7205 may I ask how did you clean them properly because I just got mines done on my left ear
I had my first ear piecring done at claires when I was in teen ages It was fine no problem so far. Now I want another done but unsure if okay go for claires at my age 31 now? 👀🤔 or should i go different piercing palour shop?
They really suit you. I got my seconds a Claire’s the other week ❤️
why is everyone literally staring you out 😂😂💗
8:42-8:48 i thought there was a tornado outside but it was just the reflection of the door frame
Congrats 💕
I got my ears pierced today and it didn't even hurt xx
Okay so, I suggest only getting your lobes pierced at Claire’s, and you have to stop touching earring and start cleaning them routinely. And leave the earrings in for at least 4 months, to give it time to heal and simmer down. I have no problems with getting my lobes pierced at Claire’s, but do not get any other pierced at Claire’s. Do not get your cartalige done their because the guns can shatter your cartilage, get more mature piercings at a tattoo parlor with a needle.
‘I walked into a random store in france’😂
When i was 7 i got my ears pierced at Claires and it cost 15 quid for each ear. I sat there for 1 hour and a half while my parents signed a bunch of papers. I got it pierced and the solution was just salt water. It hurt alot when i touched it . 3 days later my ears were swelling and were purple. I tried taking them out aswell as my parents but instead puss started coming out (no wonder claires only has 1 star)
I love the clairs produkts!!
My PROFFESIONAL piercer who did my seconds with a needle said to take them out after 8 weeks! And they still hurt so bad to take them out!
I dont think that's normal... did you contact them/your doctor? Professionals tend to give you their contact info for ANY question you have. Thats a big red flag. (assuming its a basic piercing no cartilage, anyway, that I'm not too familiar with)
sis really getting her ears pierced at claire’s in this day and age oml😬🤭
There's nothing wrong with that 😒
Samihah Yasmin lol. do your research. piercing guns are plastic, therefore they cannot be sterilised in an autoclave like piercing needles can, which increases the risk of infections and diseases which can be as bad as things like hepatitis and staph infections. also, because you’re piercing with a blunt earring, it causes unnecessary trauma to your tissue. not to mention how unsanitary it is to pierce someone in the middle of an unclean shop and with staff who’s “training” consists of watching a 5 minute video. but yeah, sure, nothing wrong with it. X
rebecca they use a fresh new piercing gun each time
@@cristalcruz10 no they don't, they just desinfect them
Adrii xtruly idk where you go lmao eww but where I’m from they open a new gun each time
Hi! Does anyone know where Emily got her double sided ball studs from? That she wears in her first lobe? I love them!
I go to clairs with no prob but u have to leave them in long enough and clean them daily
Where are your earrings from in your firsts? Can’t find any similar anywhere 😫
Hi Emily where did you get your 1st set of earrings from?(the small silver drop ones) and what are they called? Loved the vid x
Aw they look so good!
I still own my first pair of earings from Claire's
Im a few months late woopsie but I have gotten all of my 8 piercings at Claire’s and everything is fine I totally recommend
I got mine done at Claire's there actually really good even though it takes forever to heel
Ok so I’m thinking of getting cartilage piercings so can y’all tell me if they hurt more than the normal???
they don’t hurt but don’t get them with a gun because they can shatter you bone in your cartilage
Mine luckily didn’t get infected, but since I’ve gotten mine I would definitely not get it done at Claire’s ever again lol
when i saw the piercing gun i almost lost my mind
Marciline Thomas I got my ears pierced at Claire’s today, and it didn’t hurt at all, it’s more scary when you look at the piercing gun though🤷🏻♀️
@@laurenn2347 im anti gun because its a blunt object going through your ear
NAPLETONO C1 yeah I got my second hole done today !!
I've gotten my ears pierced twice with a gun and I've never had any problems!
@@lydthesquid5729 Same here. Don’t get what the whole deal against them is.
Got my second hole repierced at Icing, after many years, 3 weeks ago, with only 3 more weeks to go . It was a great experience, worth every penny. I chose the tiny clear (diamond) ones in gold. Love the little sparkle !
isnt it free at icing? I just had the greatest experience at a tattoo shop, the guy was great and had his "surgery tray" as I call it. lol
SHES SO CALM!
What part of Barcelona are you in? I have just been in Barcelona as well for 10 days I loved it how about you? 👍❤️
I’m getting my second ear piercing for my 14TH bday as a early bday present I had my first ones done when I was 8 at a salon but this I’m getting done at a tattoo place and I’m kinds of nervous cause I have to have done with a needle
I just got my ears pierced for my 11th birthday and it didn’t really hurt but it was my first peircing so if your wanting to get it pierced I say you should you won’t regret it it actually dosnt hurt
Do you have the link for these shoes ?
Omg I live in bcn I wish I could have seen you 🙁💗💗
hi im just wondering what your hoop piercing is Called and the pain scale
What size and colour Longchamp bag have you got? I can’t decide which one to purchase!
Heya, is that a hotel or an AirBandB, if its a hotel, please what hotel is it?
Where is your gold choker necklace from? I absolutely love it!
Karina De Sousa missoma!! She has a link in her instagram highlights
Ronja actually a real one. Lol thank youuu
I just got my second piercing at Claire’s today bc my parents won’t let me go anywhere else but so far I haven’t had any problems wish me luck
just got them done yesterday wish me luck too!!
@@tigergirrl how has it been?
@@Luvlybekah it was alright wby
@@tigergirrl I’m still thinking of getting mines pierced 😂
@@Luvlybekah you should its not that bad but it is all up to you ofc!
Hey. I like your earrings. Maybe you should consider getting your thirds done on the lobes on both ears.
I really really want my seconds done but my parents don’t like how it looks, so you have any tips to try and convince them? Xxxx
Yeah just get fake piercings and show them what it would look like
Em 67398
Maybe do something for them that they have been wanting you to do as a compromise that’s what I did 😂😂
Em 67398 I got mine done last week and it’s soo uneven urgh but I cba doing them again so I’m going to leave it but yeah wear fake ones and show your mum☺️
Thank you all xx
I have had 5 piercings at Claire’s and they are all 100% fine
I'm here to tell you i have both of my ears pierced at claire's and so far I have not had any problems with it and I they are a bit cheaper than anyone else on this as well they were very easy and gentle as well I didn't even feel anything the girl got me so fast I didn't know when it happened and loved it I kept shopping and did just fine
Omg those pink shorts I’m obsessed 😍
Have you had any problems with your piercing since this video
I got my helix at Claires and I kinda regretted it because it was 40 freaking dollars and was painful also didn't like the jewelry....I went to a tatto shop and got my cunch and rook done and was so happy 20 each
I have five piercings; two in each of the lobes and one cartilage. I’m planning to go back and get a third along the line of the lobe piercings. Everything has been just fine for me, id just say to wait the actual healing time. I never actually changed mine until maybe 4-6 months after the initial piercing date and that’s pushing a bit. Rather be safe than sorry!
100% so much better to be safer than sorry as I feel like fresh piercings get infected SO easily?!
Omg your so pretty
I love your daily vlogs !! 😊
Were did you get your necklace from?? That you wear all the time
I think she got it from missoma. It's called the gold leaf choker.
@@lucydoherty7210 thanks
I’ve gotten both my first (when I was six) and second piercings (two months ago) at Claire’s and I’m fine...tattoo parlors are too scary for me. I don’t want a needle going through my ear😬
linneakrg I Agreeeeee
Yeah same !! aim just scared it will get infected 😭
Yeah blunt force trauma via not so sharp piercing earring sounds much better.
I love watching your vlogs ! 🌸
You are absolutely beautiful.
@Emily Canham Vlogs
What was the name of the piercing you chose in the store?
I’m piercing my ears today and I’m excited 😊
I got my cartilage pierced at Claire’s and I’ve had it for just short of a year ,it still hurts and it has gotten infected multiple times
hey emily, love your videos and love the new piercings! do you know how much it would cost to have second piercings done in both ears at claire’s? thank you :) keep up with the good videos💗💗💗
Ellie Louise I wouldn’t recommend going to Claire’s. Go to professional piercer or tattoo parlour that uses needles and that is more sterile! I had mine done last year for £25 for my seconds at a tattoo place.
Amarah Williams thank you for the advice! also looked at reviews of claire’s and decided it was probably best to go to a tattoo and piercing place :)
I got mine pierced at Claire’s too!
Early for once 💗🤩 I just watched the video you did with ncs I’m going next week x
I personally love Claire's. I've gotten all 5 of my piercings there and never once had a problem with any of them. I just like to leave mine in longer than 3-6 weeks though too. I actually highly recommend them. *please no hate i understand everyone has had very different experiences with Claire's but I'm just sharing my personal experience and recommendation
*who else NEVER misses a video?* 🥰🥰

I love you so much Emily and I would love to get my 2nds done 💗💗💗💗
