- I was born as the villainess’s daughter inside a novel. However, by the time I showed up, the novel had already ended.
When I was born, Mom’s wrongdoings had already been revealed leading to her confinement in the tower, and soon she’ll receive a miserable death at the hands of the main characters. I held her hand while looking over my mother who sacrificed everything for her ex-husband until her dying breath. My small hand entwined with Mom’s rough one as she finally turned to me with a warm gaze.
As the novel’s villainess is dead, I, her daughter, will also die tomorrow night at the hands of those people. And then the second part of the novel will start. A novel where the main characters go on adventures, love each other and become happy at the first part. But I don’t want to die and I have no thoughts of letting the second part flow as it is.
“It’s fine even if I’m this mean.”
It’s a life where I don’t know when I’d die anyway, so might as well change how the novel’s second part goes.

Its called perspective. What we are seeing is something called “context”. Its something you have to account for in anything.
Imagine a camera man capturing a crazy event but only showing a part of the event. You only see the context of the shooting, of what you saw. The novel is that capturing. From within the perspective of the novel, the mother was the “villainess” in the story. Even though, the reality in context, is very different.
Unfortunately, this happens in real life as well. People are the “heroes” in their own stories, but only in their own perspectives. “Context in perspective” is all that is needed to flip roles, really.
@@convergence1point, it especially fits to the « villainess genre ». The « evilness » is a question of perspective. Maybe she is the one who got angry and violent, or just that she looked like a threat for the guy’s offspring.
I just hate the fact that even Daphne her own child calls her mother the former duchess a villain when the duchess was the victim

Her (FL) story reminds me of myself. I also was abandoned by my biological father. But in relationship between my parents, my mom was his lover. And I can't hate her, because my father was her boss and he forced my mom in relationship, knowing that she can't lose her job because of the economic crisis in our country and she needs to provide for my grandparents at that time. My father said he was gonna divorce his wife which whom he had an argument at that time and remarry my mom, but when my mom got pregnant with me he said: "This is not my child, get out of my site and never show your face to me again. I gonna reconsider with my wife and my daughter.". So my mom left him and returned to our homeland where she gave birth to me.
