The hyaluronidase I was injected with affected my whole face even if I only had lip fillers. My eyes look tired, my face feels heavy, my face shape has changed and looks thinner while at the same time pudgy. It's so depressing. It's been 2 weeks and I don't think it's going back to normal.

Thank you that you share this information. I think more data regarding the specificity of hyaluronidase is needed and not only for inherent hyaluronic acid, but also against naturally present in human tissues carbohydrates and glycans.

Will ablative lasers in areas that have been impacted nay going through the dissolving process help re-stimulate the body's own natural hyaluronic acid production? Or would this make it worse?

@anayarey7865 in Michigan Dr. Chow. I don't think he was familiar with it. He went over the same areas. Oh God, if I could only rewind time, I would have never had it done. It destroys your life mentally and can't look in the mirror. It's truly my fault. Never mess with what isn't broken. My face wasn't bad before it. I listen to Dr. T. He supports it so much.

@@veeivezaj Profound is a RF therapy and RF also has its own negative feedback as far as loss of facial fat/laxity though not to the same degree as hylaronidase. IReviews for Profound on Realself are...not good, mostly just say it wasn't worth it. I would opt for PRP/PRF or facial fat grafting instead of going the RF route. You can even do PRP yourself, if you're brave and resourceful enough and cost is a factor (as it is for most of us). But it does require drawing blood.

Around 6:52 you say "they look like theyve lost 100 pounds. Its a very strange look." That doesn't sound like dysmorphia to me. It suggests that if the doctor "can't see it" its because they're not wanting to own the objective result.
Granted, the panic and despair the patient will go into may be considered disproportionate to what "their friends" think appropriate ("my life is over!"). But the patient is obviously highly sensitive about their appearance, otherwise they wouldn't be dabbling in the dark arts of cosmetic procedures.
And besides all of aesthetic risks, there definitely are people who have developed neurological problems after filler dissolving events. Real, objective problems are being treated by neurologists. Is there a clear causal link between dissolvers and these problems? We dont know yet. Perhaps its corelated not causal? Perhaps its coincidental not correlated? Perhaps there are other factors that need to be present ? However, the small but significantly numbers of people reporting a connection between dissolving filler and neurological problems is of concern. And its not being systematically monitored so we don't know the incidence, let alone the cause. Considering the HUGE numbers of people getting fillers dissolved, the odds of neurological problems must be small. But, what a devestating outcome if you were the "one in a million" to get them. That's one lottery no one wants to win.
I'm leaving my fillers where they are unless or until the risk for return ratio is one I'm comfortable with. I mean, when I got the fillers no one said there was a potential problem with dissolving them. So, be careful kids! This can be a real Faustian bargin when you get into injecting or implanting stuff into you, and/or having someone cut you open. And I've done all of it over the last 25 years. I've been mostly lucky. My poor decisions in this area have not affected my health (that I know of so far), nor my functionality. 💜

Please help. I had desolver on my cheaks due to over filling , I'm a guy and the injector put it too high, I asked for it to be devolved, was not warned whatsoever about the risks! Now one cheak is Hollow in the middle and not the full cheek! Only the middle of it! Can I fix this with filler again? I look awful! Worst I've ever looked. My under eye though no fillers looks bad now and my whole face is destroyed! 2 days since and I'm feeling awful. Please tell me it can be fixed...
