Leetch breaking his ankle w a month left in a season and still can't figure out how they lost to Washington. They were the best team out of a weak Wales Conference. Went to all the home games vs Caps that year

@@danski6694 i watched islanders yearbook from 1990-91 season they were terrible. at the end of the video they showed isles winning meaningless last game of season against devils.the narrator says " with that win the isles put rest of league on notice they will be force to be dealt with next season" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

And when we dropped him he was also on the team that went out in the Conf Finals 4 short years later and his name wasn't on the Cup... never was (except as a coach) Not taking anything from his playing abilities/career but...Obviously, at the time, he wasn't needed.
