Great seeing it on the luggage with the luggage sleeve. And it looks like it’s basically the same size as a regular carry-on, rolling suitcase - that was a big help too. I liked seeing it stuffed with the bulky items like jeans and hoodies too to get a feel for how much it can actually carry. Looks like a great bag for a bit longer than a weekend trip. FYI guys!!!!! It’s February 27, 2020 and as I write this on the Dagne Dover site in the sample sale section they are selling the Landon extra large bag for $105 the regular price I believe is $215.... 😫😫😫 I ordered one because for the price I said why not but it’s so big LOL

Hi! do airlines allow the xl to be taken on the flight as a personal item (under the seat)? I am trying to decide between xl and l since I would use it for that purpose but I’m afraid the XL would be too big for under the seat
XL would definitely be too big for under the seat, I’m afraid. But if you don’t pack it full you could definitely get away with it being a carry on in the overhead bins on the plane.
@@shannoncostello319 same rules apply; if you don’t pack it full I have heard a large can fit under the seat, but I have not personally tried it. I pack my medium full and I should definitely try a large. I just worry I may be tempted to overpack it, and then it wouldn’t fit lol 😅
Definitely a valid concern! Some airlines are so rough with the handling of bags. I personally have not checked any of my landons. I use my soft bags for roadtrips more than anything. And the ones I do take on flights go overhead or under the seat with me as a carryon/personal item.
