@@MissMarshall it’s made out of paper so it’ll combust in the air and burn. Regular ones are made from wire and bamboo. They cause environmental problems so they made a paper version.
I remember doing this with the clear laundry bag you get at the cleaners we would use straws to hold the edges then scotch tape birthday candles to the straws and did it in the middle of the desert
Great instructions! My friends and I plan on doing this too but we were wondering what happens to the lanterns after take off. Do we search for them and throw them away or do they eventually burn up themselves?

It’s made out of paper. It’ll combust in midair burning the paper so it won’t do any environmental damage.
@@wolflexz Yours is a moot point. If the paper burns, the fuel source will still be burning and fall to the ground faster.
